"ODIN!" Is an original Dutch song about the spirit of the Vikings. It’s focus is mostly on the image of what Vikings as portrayed in popculture, rather than on being entirely historically accurate.
Regardless, the stories do not come from thin air; there are accounts of ruthless Vikings, mowing through the battlefield with giant great axes or biting into their shields. Sometimes they'd be completely naked or at least without any armor, wearing only a bear's skin.
"ODIN!" is about that battlefield, the motivations of the fight, and the promise of a glorious afterlife.
