2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300d Coupe review | Road Test | OVERDRIVE

The Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé has come to India to join its successful siblings - the GLC-Class crossover and the GLC 43 Coupé AMG. With this move, Mercedes-Benz India has made the GLC Coupé more accessible with non-AMG variants like the 300 petrol and the 300d diesel. Furthermore, the carmaker is assembling the GLC Coupé locally to keep costs extremely competitive against its rivals like the BMW X4. But with about Rs 16 lakh separating the GLC Coupé from its AMG counterpart, will this practical alternative cannibalise the AMG variant? Watch the video to find out.

Rohit, how does the rear seat compare to the X4 please in space and comfort? I found the X4 REALLY cramped. Is the Mercedes better with its underthigh support at the back? Disappointed with the upright backrest. That is REALLY uncomfortable. Pet peeve of mine with my 3GT.

1.)The design options for the instrument cluster layout can also be accessed via the RHS touchpad on the steering wheel. It's much quicker. 2.) Electric sunroof is there as panoramic sunroof would compromise the overall structural integrity of the roof and will be very difficult to cultivate considering the coupe roofline.

Panaromic sunroofs ALWAYS compromise the roof's structural rigidity. Glass is never stronger than steel or Al. This isn't something new.

Here I am hoping for the PHEV version. You missed one point though: **GROUND CLEARANCE**. Regardless of it being a coupe, you should have mentioned the clearance. And whether it has air suspension. Nevertheless, nice review.

He probably didn't mention it because OEMs now don't explicitly provide the figures. But if you absolutely must, it's in excess of 200mm(unladen). And no it doesn't come with an AIRMATIC suspension option.

How? It has 5% less boot space, has lesser headroom, and the only advantage is that it costs a tad bit less. Give me numbers, and numbers don't lie. I love the x4, but the glc does it better now. Plus, mbux is rated as the best infotainment in the market, better than the idrive.
