Day 17 thru hiking the Oregon Desert Trail. After leaving camp at Vee Lake, it's an off trail hike to the top of Abert Rim. The views here are stunning! Hiking the edge of Abert Rim was the highlight of the ODT so far for me. Then the rainstorms hit. Several bouts of storm clouds and rain hit throughout the day. We find camp in Miner's Draw after a long 27 mile day.
