Thanks for the nicely done video. My wife and I booked a “we pick your room” suite for March 2025 on the Odyssey. The price is about $1,200 less for two of us if we pick a junior suite room. And it is only about $400 more for a “I pick my room” Balcony. I figure there are no bad locations for any suites. We most likely will get a junior suite anyway. I will still be happy with that.

Our friends did the same option on this cruise and they ended up with an aft facing junior suite that was 2 decks below ours. Their room was super nice for the price they paid. Cant go wrong with a suite 😁 thanks so much for watching!

Good point about the price difference. I booked the Jr. Suite for the same reason, it wasn't much more than the balcony room. Thanks for the tour

Does the airconditioning turn off automatically when you leave the room like a regular balcony room? Also, is floor 11 or 12 loud with the kids going to Ocean Adventure?

No, the AC doesn’t turn off when you leave the room. It only turns off if you leave the balcony door open. As a side note, in a normal balcony room we’ve always thrown a business card into the slot next to the main light switch and kept the TV on and had good luck keeping the AC on during the day. We didn’t experience any of noise from kids going to adventure ocean. If you had a room closer to adventure ocean near the front of the ship you may get some noise but we didn’t hear anything when we’d walk around near that side of the ship on those decks.

Another question. Did you have any problems getting reservations for dinner at Coastal Kitchen?

None. We thought we would, so we went to coastal kitchen, after we ate lunch at the windjammer on embarkation day, and made a reservation for that evening. After dinner that night and how awesome the food was we asked our waiter if we could have reservations for similar time for the entire trip and they put it in for us. There were certain nights it was busier than others but for the most part there was availability each day for reservations throughout the cruise.
