The big piece of the puzzle ignored in this video is the fact that Plato says that Solon said an Egyptian told him Atlantis was 9000 years before their conversation. We aren't looking for Bronze Age ruins, we are looking for much older civilizations.

I think comparing the Iliad’s veracity to Plato’s account of Atlantis is rife with errors: Homer wrote the Iliad at most 600 years after the battle of Troy while Plato placed Atlantis approximately 9000 years before his time; while both the Iliad & Plato’s Atlantis contain many supernatural elements, one’s core theme is of a war of expansion (a decidedly realistic activity &, in the history of humans, so frequently repeated as to become mundane), while the other’s core theme is of god’s punishing people for hubris (which, at least from a historical/archeological/scientific standpoint, has absolutely never happened once, ever). Atlantis is a parable best treated metaphysically, the Iliad is a historical account in epic poem form.

There's so much still to be found under the desert sand, the oceans, the polar ices, and in the jungles of the world. Frankly, I think a lot HAS been found that we haven't heard about that's probably in people's private collections. I'd love to see what the Vatican has that they DON'T display to the public. What archaeologists believe was Atlantis was found by a perfectly respectable American-Spanish joint expedition in southern Spain in Donana National Park on the Atlantic Ocean, results announced in 2015. Don't these diving scientists follow reports? The race has been decided. No, seriously, look it up. And there are many good reasons why it was where they say it was, on the coast of southern Spain, although it was a Bronze Age city. For instance, as a port it would have straddled both the ancient Atlantic seaboard trade and the Mediterranean trade with its position next to the Pillars of Hercules as well as the Atlantic islands trade and could have been a great city indeed. But it was destroyed by a massive tidal wave originating either from a nearby fault line earthquake or an eruption in the Canary Islands or Azores, highly volcanic islands, perhaps in a day. Atlantis was in a highly seismic part of southern Spain, North Africa, AND The Pillars of Hercules. And it was NOT known as 'Atlantis' (see below *). Now this happened perhaps 2000 years before Solon's time. So if Plato was describing events about a destroyed place outside of the Pillars of Hercules he may have been drawing on some vague story based on reality, but only to the extent that there might be a plausible folk memory of the event taking place a couple of thousand years before (with embellishments!). But to describe some event taking place 9000 years before would have been literally impossible. I think it significant that there was relatively little attention given by the ancients to Atlantis either in literature, mythology, or art. It certainly had no central role in classical culture, it only assumes significance as a story made up by Plato in the realm of philosophical dialogue. This suggests that most of the intense interest in Atlantis and particularly its role as a foundational and fabulous historical place and all the pseudo-scientific interest in 'Atlantis' is a modern invention, and carried on by quacks in our own time but also taken seriously in Nazi racial doctrine ie the idea of a superior race dominating early mankind. * I found the following interesting information on the internet about how the ancients themselves viewed the myth of Atlantis (Quote): 'The term "Atlanteans" was also applied by the Greeks to the Phoenician colonies along the Barbary Coast of North Africa--i.e. those living near the Atlas Mountains. Diodorus Siculus describes their Titan-mythology and wars with the Libyan Amazones. Plato may have the same nation in mind for he names the second Atlantean king Gadeiros after a famous Phoenician colony near the Straits of Gibraltar.' (Credit Theoi Mythology Project). So we apparently have a good idea where Plato derived his name for his city, from the Phoenicians! Scott Zema BA MA Art History and Architecture UW

Right , if i have my geology right the Oceans move on and they are said to leave massive swaithes of desert. Having dug the sphynx out the sand are we sure when we talk of Atlantis we are not refering to somerhing old and ancient , that as time went on the sand blown away exposing some city or other until you dig the far older yet combination of stone and bronze tech. Basicly add the fact the desert was a sea we could be on the right track. As well as the fact we have technology as ancient anscesters and then an impact happens i still believe the core impact making the moon. As earth base one and austrailier turn up with iron knob unable to make ejection and a reef wall in north austrailier. Plus the moon is far younger as we look at its eratic orbit , and would not be the same age as the sun yet would be aged as old as its parent having spewed from the wounds got during the core impact . And engineering from beyond that during a globular breakdown then a moon impact are the kind of things a real timeline has to accept , earth base one being part of a substation relay system with enterprise hoax as the main station relay for telephone telegram and comms and possible entertainment system. The geology covering each structure should prove what i say. These relays once in the shallowest parts of the ocean now in parts of the deepest areas , so after the impact that formed the moon. The whole timeline story has to take a break as we regress and mutate after losing ninety percent skilled labour teachers and the likes , and the basic needs stuff forst a foremost after which we start to dismantle egypt and the working pyramid to what we percieve today. My truth comes from what i believe were bilingual child tests , as children have languages easy after exposed to remains of information which stored on gold discs was barely lost , as gold is sturdy enough yet soft enough to reuse and even melt the hair of a groove so sturdy and reusable , luckyly stored well so keeping alot of info i now know so much history they still decided to lie of , and so all for nothing , and fk the truth

Its under the north sea, Stonehenge is 10k years old and built by atlantians. Problem solved. The change from hunter gatherers to farmers at the time of the flood 6200bc in Britain and later a bronze age invader fathered over 60% of all the men in europe and beyond. In fact the 18th dynasty of Egypt are among its decendents and there is another source that explains this in the bible. The biblical family were thrown out of Egypt after Tut and wrote their new monotheistic version While Egypt went right back to paganism. Before you say nonsense you should know that tin from Britain made up over half the bronze in the region for over a thousand years before this time. Ample time for stories to pass back and forth between sailors and traders. We have been searching for all this stuff for 2000 years and not a sniff of any evidence whatsoever. Its time to start looking in the right place.

And yet, there are other sources, some contemporary, other somewhat older than Plato's two dialogues. Who knew, eh? The "historians" didn't but that does not surprise anyone. Historians are not scientists but poor excuse for philosophers. They would know squat about scientific research and rigour. PS: Did you know that there are two villages in Donana mudfields called Isla menor and Isla mayor. Small island and big island. Or, if you prefer, Minor and major island. In the middle of the plain of Donana. What do you make of that info? And how many times have you heard a "historian" or an archaeologist mentioning these names? And Schliemann did not discover Troy, nor proved it. He only bought the right to continue excavations already going on in hisarlik. Which, oh by the way, is NOT Troy.
