The Celts believed in benign spirits and demonic forces, but made no churches or temples: nature itself was their cathedral. Kenneally visits ancient Celtic settlements in Austria, Italy and Greece. He explores the settlement of Castell Henllys in Wales, where the religion of the druids was broken by Roman military might. And at Newgrange, Ferrycarraig and Dun Aengus in Ireland, he reveals how the Celts came to adopt the Gods of those who had preceded them.

Is it me, or is it true that til this day, Celts are still portrayed as primitive barbarians and Rome/Greece as sophisticated and civilized? The Celts were way more noble than Rome or Greece, and lived WITH nature instead of trying to control it and monetize it.

You get the same thing with the Americas. It doesn’t hold up though. Cahokia, in Missouri, had a greater population than London at the time and the pyramids at Caral, in Peru, are older than the ones at Giza by about four centuries. There was also an iron-making culture in North America and Inca roads are still in use today in some places. I guess the Greek and Roman historians had more clout in the universities…

Dude stop. The Celts had cities. They had hill forts. They didn't "live WITH nature," they lived in exactly the same world as the Greeks and Romans. The Greeks and Romans lived closer to larger, urban civilizations from which they could absorb more technological development and administrative structures and as such were more capable of mobilizing humans to go on military campaigns and develop larger scale enterprises. No 'race' is 'noble.' That kind of thinking is so out of date I don't even know where to start. Magic is not real; humans are the same, it's just that some of them have more people, bigger cities, and hence more stuff.

@@almitrahopkins1873 This. However I don't believe the celts were quite as civilized as we know it today. More noble? Hard to say, as I don't really understand what that means. I do think they were more connected to the Earth and nature during the Greek/Roman times we are talking about. I think the world could certainly use less "civilization" today, though. It's clearly not the natural way for us as a species to live.

@@almitrahopkins1873 Saying Cahokia had a higher population than London at its peak is a bit misleading, 1150-1350 Cahokia peaked at around 20,000 people. At the same time London’s population went from around 18,000 in 1050 to around 80,000 in 1300 So Cahokia only had a higher population for maybe 20 years out of that 200 year peak period, 90% of Cahokias peak London was bigger.

Britain was already inhabited by Celtic tribes, long before any exodus from Gaul of those fleeing the Legions of Rome. Archaeology and Science has proved this conclusively. Human skeletal Matrilineal DNA, as well as Dendrochronological Science are the irrefutable dictates of the fact.

I think there may be confusion with definition as to who counts as "Celts". For example quite literally all people in Europe descended from Indo Europeans. At what point is someone a "Celt" or "non Celt?". Those who consider Bretons to be different, will say Celts came later. Some suggest that Bretons are Celts.

Each of us has a subconscious connection to the spirit of nature. It’s part of our ingrained DNA and ancestry that goes back to the time of living in caves. It is a sense of respect co-existence , and gratitude for the element of survival needs that mother Earth provides. It was only a natural course of thinking that came about in explanation and solutions to ancient ancestors about things they saw as greater than themselves. Some societies worshipped the Sun for the same reason, or a litany of separate deities to suit specific purposes.

Untrue: “Veni, vidi, vici” (10:05) is a catchy phrase, but it was never written by Caesar about his Gallic wars. He wrote this in the context of his victory over Pharnakes, king of Pontus at the Black Sea. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veni,_vidi,_vici). This took him five days, so “I came, I saw, I won” was aptly said. He would never say it about Gaul, which took him the better part of eight years to subdue. Can it be that the makers of this video really did not know this? They do know what they are talking about, don’t they? And they do their research, don’t they? (Rhetorical question... the answer is clear.) In any case, not true. Makes you ask yourself what, and what not, to believe from this video. I for myself stopped watching at this point, and decided not to subscribe to this channel.

Many Celtic gods have different names in a different pantheon- it could be the same spiritual office, or often the exact same individual. Heading a pantheon of record, Manogan and Mathonwy are the same as Antu and Anu, Sumerian. Anu was the god of Nibiru, Old Aeon; Ruhefezed became the god, New Aeon, of same, Anu becoming of the same sphere as Ouranos. Offspring of these gods were Beliih; more on the Dayside, Danu, Don and Math. Danu is Nature, resembling D'Anu; Don is actually the same as Morrigan, the same as Yama, in India. Math is the same office as Renenet, Egyptian. Beliih and Don, their Avatars were our First Ancestors, of the Second Race, also known as Embla and Ask; Lubej is Gaelic for Ask, too. Beliih is the same as Ynanna, the love divinity; the same also as Venus Lubentina; not the same as either Venus nor Aphrodite, removed goddesses (their replacements are Vumefeqa and P'zaiih). Eve, southwards, was an Avatar of Juno, more a marriage divinity. We're not of the middle eastern amber caucasian race. Parthelon was the first human, also called Mirotheos, Mi, Mi'ra, Uryliah; Qesesawiz in proto-Celtic. Progenitor of the First Race. Nemed, the offspring, also known as Nudimud, Sir'za (Celtic), Osiris (not the Egyptian god though). Next, the generation consisting of Gwydion, Nynniaw, Gilvaethwy, Amaethon, Govannon, Nudd (or Hlud), Arianrhod, Peithbaw- these correspond very well with the days of the week, Azebulejube, Weekend or Sabbath, Afetefebeqel, Peri... ending with Weqpef (These first and last days switched position for the New Aeon; today is actually best Peri). Gwyn, nic Nudd, not in any other pantheon. A Llevylys, one son of Lubej and Beliih, called Ipezr also; those Eight actually also represented in their offspring. Then, Nwyvre, Llew (Law Gyffes), and Dylan- these correspond very well with Atmospherea or Vayu, Corporea, and Es- this last, the most spiritual or heavenly...

The narrator, Christy Keneally, should contact Ireland's National History Museum immediately. The folks there would be absolutely amazed to learn that the Keltoi reached Ireland in numbers. The National History Museum doesn't have a single "Celtic" exhibit. There is good reason for this. There's no concrete evidence the "Celts" made it to Ireland. None. Gaelic Ireland, strangely ignored by Keneally in this bizarre historical offering as it relates to Ireland, did not identify as "Celtic". In other words a Gaelic civilization that ruled over Ireland for almost 2,000 years to the 16th century, a civilization that shared a common language, culture, customs and laws, did not recognize any linkage to the European "Celts". It's as if, in an Ireland context, they never existed.

The word Celt doesn't come from a word meaning "barbarian"- it was the name of one of the first, descendants of Draik through his son, who was the progenitor of Celts. His brother was the progenitor of the Frisians, or English lineage. Both these brothers were Redeemer Avatars, as also was Draik. However, the Redeemer Avatar brother Memkixu- father of the Frisian, Anglican or English line- is no longer anyplace to be found; is no longer in Hierarchy. There is no Redemption in the channel of attunement which has been called English; neither is it possible for there to be a country Britain. Bellona or Britannia was the patron or friend divinity of that country; she was also removed from Hierarchy (and cast into hell). When that Pisces, Old Aeon was over, the Patriarchal Attribution of English had been removed from the planet- with Aquarius, all of both U.K. and this country had a Celtic attribution, actually- to interpret German, or Irish Celtic is extremely good; not as probably best as Scottish Celtic, for us. Britain was one of the 13 Hierarchical Nations; was replaced by Scotland; Ireland and this country are of the Archetypical countries. The very incredibly low vitality condition- most probably its correct to say it goesa good way back- it exacerbated greatly with this Removal, as the English language and certain identification (vain, as was characteristic of the former patriarchal attribution) continued to be used. Celts should speak Gaelic- for us Scottish Gaelic would be the top best language; if they do not, they will have a health/vitality condition, Jecethmeqeswyeq (in proto-Celtic). This is a dyssynchronization, which prevents Rezefede, correct Patriarchal Attribution and blessing, the primary source of Energy and renewal; an Asynchronization is inherent in the use of the Names America and U.S.A., the remedial to which is to change the Name to its true, Nova Scotia or Alba Nuadh. Such Async is called Jeqreuq. The Motion and attunement of a good Rezefede cannot be related to a certain motion created by the popular revolution, neither real Redemption; personal energy flow should not be. Subtle directions. Best don't try and trace back origins to any of those; you will find, mysteriously, there's no "American" you can trace back to, to try and prop up tonality and energize. That's because the conceptual entities (only), America and U.S.A. were also Removed, quite long ago; rather like a clock striking midnight, perhaps....

Modern academia has thrown into doubt the idea of Celts in Ireland or Britain. Genetic research has a strong link to Iberia for the root population, with any Celtic artifacts found here more likely through trade rather than brought by an invasion. Film maker Bob Quinn, back in the 80s, spoke more of Ireland in terms of a maritime Atlantic culture rather than Central European Celtic, and I think more modern scholarship backs up this view. "Celtic" as a term referring to Irish or British people was used by antiquarian Edward Llud in the in the 18th century through an erroneous identification of Breton with Gaulish. In fact Breton was brought to Northern France by Britons escaping the upheavals of the Anglo Saxon incursions to Britain.
