This is massive, definitely a reference I’ll use all the time now! Thank you and well done! ✨ What I thought was missing: pushing steps (eg. regular backwards Peter Pan + Pushing Combo, chop the pirouette into push, …) Lookback into switch lookback (which is also great to travel and push, especially at the end of a line) I think it was called Salsa? Lazy L…-something 💝✨💕✨💝

PS: my absolute favorite is chop the leprechaun 😂
@OEDS62 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot Giu ! It’s true, but I have no expertise at all on those 😂. I wanted to record the switch look back combo and realized I didn’t know how to do it 🤷🏻♂️ And for the leprechaun, i spent a lot of time alone making this video. Maybe too much 😂

Axel, I still fondly and nostalgically remember the video of simple longboards with the platypus when I started!! Without a doubt this one has brought me the same vibrations !! Thank you for sharing your hours of study of this evolution of dancing with the whole community, and as always, a great job with this video, like all of them, elegant in every way! Thank you
@OEDS62 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for this kind message, I watched the simple video over and over again when I started as well, And it was definitely a big inspiration to make this video

What could be added: Hans Wouters made up 2 Steps which were not in the video: Twist Step & Swift Step. Furthermore Brandon DesJarlais has Tutorial on a Jumpy Step called "Apple Sauce". And last the Step "Sex-Change" which is in one of the Tutorials from Simple Longboards

Love the video. I was actually trying to break it all down myself on paper and I think a 360 step = a pirouette, not a 180 step to 180 step. My reasoning is because if you follow the "360 step = 180 step to 180 step" logic; then, just by increasing the 180 steps, "540 step = 180 step to 180 step to 180 step" and so on.
@OEDS62 жыл бұрын
Haha yeah I understand the logic. Everyone has theirs, and mine isn’t necessarily the common one 😅

As someone who has skateboarded for many decades. I'm not a longboarder. This is kinda silly looking honestly. Plus if you fall with your legs crossed like that you're asking for serious injury. All this that you show is a big no in real skateboarding. But on the other end, you can do whatever you want on a skateboard. So more power to you!
@getthefedout4 ай бұрын
I've been skating since 1976, THIS is real skating. People like you are the problem with the lifestyle. And yes, it's a lifestyle, not a sport. Do you think longboards are new? You really think what he's done here is a no no in skating? What a joke. You might wanna do a bit of research before you open your mouth. Jmo 😂

Good shit. Wanted to put a comment down to boost the algorythem but i actually have something to say about this. Almost all positive, thai massage is dope, so is the ancle twist! Also an updated version of "simple steps" the video was long over due. Great work. Ps. Jumpy crosstep is basicly a crosstep with a sw fakie 180 step imo xxx
