Fun fact: This is the longest battle conversation chain in the game. Not so fun fact: Steam stats show that more people clear 100 floor long palace of the dead than even enter the Netural route.

I think people were more attracted by the other route due comment. Neutral route got many bad comment being the least interesting story alongside having no uniaue and public promoted like Raveness and Cressidia of all route.

Only tangentially related, but I was doing the neutral route, and Ravness kind of just came back to life in my Warren Report. Started listing her age again and says she turned against Leonar, and I didn't accidentally switch to the Lawful route or anything, because I'm literally doing this scene with Oelias, Dievold, and Nybeth (going to switch to Chaos next and get Cressida). No other character has had that happen, either. Some don't even show up in my Warren Report in this route (such as Jeunan).

7:58 yeah lol Tartaros should have been playable, and with Rogues 🤣 for a unique approach like Front Mission having both sides. It's dangerous to lend Denam your ear. Katiua was playing Russian roulette by doing so, and here he goes after Nybeth's schemes. 8:55 damn you shiftstone 😅

Nor have I with over 1000 hours on psp (granted minimum half is maxing cursed weapons. Yup I'm bonkers.). But I usually hit PotD on chaotic because necroprentice marks. And hey, while I'm there I may as well get all the rare stuff! 100 hours later, I forget I wanted to check it out in neutral and never go back til CODA.

Generic Priest class from PSX version is now Orias' unique sprites? Oops, she's called Oelias now.

Oelias deserved access to the priest class. Originally she was a priest in the super-famicom version, although it was a generic class and the only one that could use revivify . Her character sprite is the original priest class. The priest was removed in the PSP version and the name was given to Catuia's Class which was originally High Priest and Oelias got the short end of the stick and downgraded to a cleric.

I couldn't believe how long the dialogue went on when I fought him. (I just wrapped up neutral before going on to law.) I'm curious, does he say more to Oelias and Nybeth down at floor 100? Do you know?

I believe there is no extra dialogue on floor 100 in any route or character.

🧙🏼‍♂️ So Cassandra is a mistress? Or a second wife? It makes even more sense considering the Arabic symbolism that Nibeth conveys. It remains to find out who is the son of who there, There are Oelias, Dievold, Cressida and Moldova! What a mess!

Man wants to create life so he is on right track Jokes aside Cassandra and Cressida and Moldova has different surnames in Netural route. So I'm guessing they aren't blood related in this route. I mean considering age similarity between Cressida and oelias this would mean nybeth would be two timing for a long time which i think is not true. Man's love for his wife seems quite strong in netural route. And Dievold even says Nybeth isn't that much of a liar, just a truth concealer. Funny how Denam's choices in life change nybeths entire family tree.

@@Burak_C Yeah it's really interesting. On the Neutral route, Cassandra, Cressida, and Moldova have different surnames in the Warren Report. But on the Chaos route, it's Oelias and Dievold who have different surnames (and not the same one either, going by the Warren report they have no relation to each other or to Nybeth on Chaos). So regardless of route, he only has two children and one wife. Just the identify of who those people are is different.

with this, do you suggest completing Palace of the Dead on the first play-through (currently on Law route), or finish the game and return to Neutral route then complete the Palace of the Dead?

completing the rest of routes and getting all the characters is always entertaining, also u may find secret dialogues or hidden bosses

Since palace guides no longer require nybeth dead on warren report, its fine to complete it in any route and time. Edit : Do note that you need nybeth dead on warren report if you want to tackle blackmoor on coda. So it might be best to kill nybeth - defeat final boss - continue to Coda

Not really. She only has remarks about Xaebos' fate. Doesnt have any battle dialogue about her father sadly.
