Did you bother to check it by removing the drain plug and seeing if any oil was left inside the sump the first time you used the Fluid Extractor ??????????????????????

You can check by Measuring the amount of Fluid that was Extracted. If you put in 7 Quarts and 7 Quarts comes out, you know its working 👍

Does it remove as much old oil as removing the drain plug? I feel like it would leave atleast a little residual at the bottom of the pan, along with whatever crud happened to get caught in the oil. 🤷‍♂️ Should do this, then remove the drain plug just to see how much is left behind.

Yeah car has about 6.5 quarts in the engine and you can measure what you pull out by re filling the old containers and its on point every time 👌

It's better do it the old way because you will get most of the sludge out

Simply not true. Bmw, Audi, VW and Mercedes-Benz all use this method at the dealership. Their shouldn't be "sludge" in your oil pan.
