That was an excellent demonstration. Of course what I thought at the end when the magnet spun------pulse motor. Make a simple make and break switch somehow and you have a motor. You might have to put a resistance (maybe a light bulb) in the circuit to reduce the amp draw.

Please mark one end of the magnet stack and redo the experiment again below the wire, note the direction of the mark, then raise the magnets above the wire, and note the direction. The directions of the marks should be opposite, no?
