awb, one of the most influential soul bands for over 50 years, certainly the best soul band to come out of the uk by a country mile, hamish stuart being the missing piece of the jigsaw, a godfather of soul in his own right.

Managed to get a tickets to see the AWB at the Cambridge Corn Exchange on the 28/04/24 on there final tour, just amazing, missed the chance to see them 40 years a long wait be worth it!

Saw these guys in the early seventies at the Richmond Mosque. Absolutely blew me away. Still do. I miss Hamish, but Eliot does a great job. ( I never understood why Hamish walked away from music like this to join a syrupy band like Wings. Money?)
