I have a Hilleberg Soulo that would have usually been my tent for this job but I'd heard so many good things about the OEX Bobcat 1 that I had to try it out and I'm happy to reccomend this to anyone now. I found it a superb little tent in really adverse conditions. As long as you are not taller than 5 foot 11 that is because it will be too short for you. Thanks again mate 👍

@@Appetite4Altitude yeah mate, unfortunately you would really struggle to stretch out to sleep in this tent in my opinion. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I suppose it's good news to know before buying isn't it?

Your video just confirmed why I'm a tree dweller. Too exposed for me, plus the woodland is easier to get to for my aging bones. The bobcat looks sound though.

Hi mate do you no of a 4 season tent thata freestanding and dont use guy lines/pegs ? im strugglimg 🤨 id love just to nock a tent up slide it into a gap and not have to worry about taking up more space by pulling out guy lines 😅

@BILLYLONDON88 what are you wanting to use the tent for mate? It's crazy you ask me this now because I've been buying a new tent specifically for urban stealth camping while I can't get up in the hills. I wanted a streamlined tent enough to fit me and my kit in, with a vestibule for cooking. Free standing and not need guy lines so that I can fit it in tight spaces. It also had to be high enough for me to sit up in during poor weather. I went with the Naturehike Cloud up 1. It's ideal for the purpose I needed. I'm not sure if I'd use it on top of Great Gable in December though!! Loads of people swear by this tent. I'll be doing a review on it soon but there's loads already out there on youtube if you want to have a look and see if it fits your needs. Was that rattle on the camera your microphone? I had an issue with my rode mic once. The cap came lose on front and caused a rattle. Sounds very similar

Yes mate exactly that. The mic kept coming out of the rear holding section and rattling before I realised it was out. Was having to correct it all the time
