So I just watched this movie on my flight home to San Diego from a wedding in Barcelona & I was sobbing throughout. Ugh… loved it but it was so heartbreaking.

loveddddd this movie. i think they perfectly captured the intoxicating feelings of falling hard and fast in love with someone you just met. i’m 35 & this REALLY sent me back to my early 20’s remembering some crazy fun times lol. i felt like it ended sort of abruptly? i thought there was going to be more conflict or at least a bit more resolution/ explanation 🤷🏽‍♂️ oh well still a great film 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

This might be your best edit ever. Nice marriage between Nick’s response to the film and the images. Love you guys. Keep shining. And don’t EVER change. Especially those shady af facial expressions Joseph. 😂❤️😘

This sounds like my kind of movie. I love movies about love, especially a fleeting love. Like Nick said, there's just something about someone who really sees you. Nick, I could listen to you talk about movies for days!

I had to watch this gem with subtitles on because that sister started the film speaking a mile a minute. But, as a result, I got confirmation that both ”The Boy Is Mine” & ”1 Thing” played during the wedding scene. The inclusion of Amerie, Brandy & Monica tipped my 4.9 rating firmly to 5 stars.

Now that I'm older, these kinds of films really resonate. Besides the sister being hella annoying, this film was quite wonderful. ❤️

I hoped you were going to review this. Just the trailer itself had me emotional. I think we all have that one person we had an intense connection with that we recall or cling to the memory of especially as we get older. Huge Tori fan here btw. I haven't missed a concert of hers since 1996. Thanks guys. 😊

Bonjour vous 2, the film 'Of an Age' by Goran Stolevski really hit me hard. The emotion, is conveyed through meaningful glances, and it only took a single camera on a shoulder?... a challenge, a feat not so easily achieved in it is so powerful and the two lead actors are simply amazing. I mean, just one look from them and I was completely transported. Adam (👻💌Thom Green , à folie ! depuis )reminds me of a contemporary James Dean, and I can't help but find Midinette's corny personality endearing. What's really refreshing about this film is that it shows an LGBTQ couple that isn't plagued by promiscuity, STDs, murder, or social disgrace - a rarity in the industry. Instead, we see a touching relationship that we want to see last and thrive. Do we always need drama to make a good film? Maybe not, but it's certainly more marketable. Nonetheless, 'Of an Age' reminds us that we're not alone in our experiences and emotions. Nick, your perception is spot on! By the way, if this film were to be 'revisited' in the multiverse (a Made in France version) I could see Julie Ponsonnet bringing her touch to it - she's the best script doctor I know

Sorry, new to the channel. So, Nick watches the movie, and Joseph listens? I'm confused. So, the first scene - where does that fit into the movie? Is it before or after Kol met up with Adam after the wedding? Who was he talking to? But otherwise, it is a beautiful slow burn of a movie. Considering 50% or more of the movie is inside a car, it kept me entertained. Kol (Elias Anton) reminds me of Ben Affleck on some angles. I am not sure if I believe when he was 19 years old, but it was still cool to see the transformation.

I was surprised how they handled the age difference. It really did look in both lead characters that years had passed both in demeanor and dress. It was captivating to watch the interactions between an OUT gay man and a CLOSETED gay man flirt/enage with one another (and fun to relive through the movie lol). I was looking forward to Of An Age, but overall, it didn't do it for me. The whole movie was so depressing/heavy/slow and felt like it was building up to at least something fun/magical at the end but noooOOOOooo. It was like that pretty much the WHOLE movie.

Kol is a Bosnian Serb and a Yugoslav. His family moved to Australia before the war even started (1991). The language his family speak is Bosnian (or Serbian-Croatian, call it whatever you like). Both Bosnian and Serbian people are still mostly very homophobic and 99,9% of gay people there never come out, pretending to be straight, being married with kids and see other men in secret. Most would rather be dead than out. I'm so glad Kol's family moved out when he was a child (even though he's not a real person, but could be).
