Jocelyn-- Catching up on a few episodes. The "weeping gold". was probably made at Scio Pottery (near Coshocton, Ohio). They did a lot of Ohio clay molds and speciality finishing items for other companies. In the early 70's, they made Campbell Soup mugs and Maxwell Coffee mugs for their company's promotions. On a Girl Scout tour, I bought my mom the "weeping gold" oak leaf and maple leaf shaped ashtrays. I sold them in the fall for $24 set. The dealer begged for more, but my mom never collected any other pieces to match. ///Also-- the Upper Ohio Valley Glass Museum at Olgelbay Park, Wheeling, WV has that Imperial Glass carnival punch bowl w base and cups. Very pretty set! ///Can't wait to see the ABB. in January!

8:30 A little late, but I have that dish, just with a different hand painted pattern. Mine is marked O&EG Royal Austria, and is separately signed and dated by the person who painted it (1920).

Also on the Asian items, if you use Google translate on the bottom stamp, sometimes it has the manufacturing date. I was at an estate sale recently and almost bought a Rose Medallion punch bowl, but the stamp showed it was made in 2017!

The little blue porcelain dish is a Chinese export canton salt dish c 1840 not a soap dish they are very funny looking but remember the shape!, they are worth about 75-100

In my opinion, using a woven top coffee table in an air b&b would be a mistake. Renters will spill stuff on it and ruin it. Go for a solid top. Plus, the colors are off.

The woven piece for a coffee table would be a nice neutral, but you'd want a super heavy glass to for it or it would get ruined by spillage.

Agreed not a family-friendly piece. Won't take much for one Raton piece to get broke and then the peace will start to unravel and just look yuck dirt will be impossible to wipe off besides from kids possibly pets if they're allowed

Imo the coffee table option would look beautiful with the gray couch. I love gray/black and tan/brown together but it should be looked at like a wood. It looks like a natural fiber so on the same plane as wood. It would also bring great texture into the space. I do think it would be difficult to keep clean so maybe pass because of that. Love your videos 💚🧡

The proposed coffee table is really nice BUT definitely won’t go in your B&B lounge. Wrong colour, difficult to clean and with it uneven texture, very difficult to balance a coffee mug on. A bit like the black wire shelves in goodwill 😂😂😂
