AWA September 2017; Laura Bailey and Travis Willingham have a critical role panel and get questions about what they love the most.... dice and werewolves.
This panel took place just over 24 hours after episode 113, I believe, but there really arnt any spoilers in this vid

Travis is 100% correct. Twilight does not have werewolves in it. It has over sized puppies.

It is actually explained in the books that they are not werewolves. They're shapeshifters, they could have chosen any form to turn in, but because of their tribes relation to wolfs the first ones to transform choose a wolf's form. In the books the last werewolf was killed by one of the Volturi trio, I can't remember his name. During the last fight he says "we still have to kill them, they aligned themselves with werewolves" to which his brother replies with something along the lines of "Stop it, we both know they aren't werewolves, you took care of the last one ages ago"

Yeah, Wheaton has barrels of dice, and you wonder why his luck with rolling is so poor? Show loyalty to your dice, they feel insulted when you jump from dice to dice.

But some times you have to make the dice realize what they have. I had only one 7 dice set and rolled bad more often than not and then for helping a friend that owned a game shop he gave me a 7 dice set. The new set looked cooler so I started using it and it in general rolled better. Well that dice set got stolen along with my laptop so now I'm back to using my first set and now they roll fairly good.

I am firmly of the belief that dice don’t like being used beyond their original purpose. Every time I start a new character or a new game, I buy new dice and only use them for that.

Something too consistent with certain numbers may mean it's not properly centered/balanced. That's the benefit of using plastic dice, you can float them in warm salt-water to test their balance. Otherwise, it's not the bloody dice, it's just me!😅

To be fair to Travis, the last Twilight book states that Jacob and the others are "wolf shifters" and not werewolves. It's even mentioned that true werewolves in Europe that are results of a disease. But that was a throw-away line at the last scene, and everyone in the story up to that point either said they were werewolves or said some vague bs about "men in the shape of wolves." TL:DR - Travis isn't the only one that cares about the difference between werewolves and shapeshifters; even Meyer mentioned it (eventually).

I'm with Laura when it comes to dice. I like having a set exclusively for each character I play. I do have a couple mainstay sets that I use on multiple characters, but you can never have too many dice.

To be fair, 4 sets are kind of the sweet spot. Having less dices can become a hindrance when rolling lots of damage (high level spells, sneak attack, smite and so on) or many attacks with advantage/disadvantage (of course you could write your results down as you go on, but this is more fun). More dice is not bad per se, but you'll rarely need more dices. Most of the time you can survive with 4.

Doing math now... I think I have 200 something dice (there was a bag of 100 dice that I sorted through and came out with it being over 100 dice that I just forgot the exact number so, exact number escapes me at the second), including 10 D30s, 12 D16s, 2 D24s and 2 D100s, and 4 sets of 7 dice that are metal. How many games have I played thus far? Zero, I am still looking for one in my area that I can join. I have rolled for characters in 4 different races, and 5 different classes, I am ready to go.

the barrel's of dices... for a person that believes in luck, and not probability.... you could tell her that when you get more and more dices you spread your luck between them. that's why percy's golden snitch was so good. supposedly. in any case that could explain will wheatons luck when he rolls was so bad cause he spread all his luck thru his barrel's of dices. on my case i know a 20 sided die has 5% chance on landing on any given number any given time so i don't really care how many dices i get.

I'm of the belief you should have only 2-5 die per type. More or less each depending on what they are/your character. You need maybe 2-3 d20s (2 for when you roll with advantage/disadvantage, 3 if one falls). The rest depends on the build. A paladin with board and shield will probably need a few more d8s, and a not as many d12s or d4s. A rogue on the other hand might enjoy a couple more d6s, since they roll a bunch of them for sneak attack, but almost no d10 or d12. And so on.
