I advise listening to this with ear phones because it sounds like Austin is to one side of you, and Tino, the other, it's great

This band has the most humble members I have ever witnessed. This band grows to be my biggest inspiration one Ill always have in my heart. Can not wait to see them live again. (Saw them at Beale street music festival they go hard as fuck!)

Valentino says the best thing 10:58 " There are people that wish we would sound the same as the other records .... " and on and on but the big thing about this is that people will always want something from a band and if it changes they will want it to stay the same and if it stays the same people will be annoyed it sounds the same so in the end there is no way to please everyone. All that to say Of Mice & Men changes, great I love them. Disturbed sounds a lot alike and I still love it as much.

They feel like this is their first album? Kinda a slap in Shayley's face if they don't even want to acknowledge The Flood as one of their earlier albums, since he put a good amount of work into it, they all did but still.
@fadeshwaggs7710 жыл бұрын
I agree dude, with out Shay they wouldn't be where they are right now. Don't really like these guys anymore. Just like when Austin left "oh we feel that there's a better connection." He comes back "yeah this is how it's suppose to be" such sketched lines man!
@ixPeekABooBix10 жыл бұрын
I see what your saying but I also see what they are saying. They recognize that it's their third album. But they feel like it's their first album because Restoring Force is the sound they want to have and be known for. It's like, they feel like this is their best album yet, and that's is why they are able to say, "This is our first album [This is what we want to sound like]. And they always acknowledge their first two albums with Shayley. When you see them live, they always play the old stuff. It's isn't a slap in Shayley's face to be honest. They aren't talking about how working with Shayley was shitty. They bring up the fact that they like the sound of Restoring Force better than the Sound they had in their self-titled and The Flood.

roller coaster Well, they said they feel like Restoring Force is the first album they feel like they got the sound they wanted, obviously the first two albums didn't mean nothing to them, just not as much as Restoring Force means to them.

Although most of my favorite OM&M songs are from The Flood [The Depths, Repeating Apologies, The Great Hendowski, My understandings] I didn't really notice a change in OM&M with Restoring force. They toned down a little but that's all I see different. I still see this people who make their music. It is their music, why did people get so pissed off with Restoring Force? It's the way they wanna make their music, don't like, don't listen. I did enjoy a lot of songs from the new album though, all of them are pretty great. But why is everyone angry over the fact they feel this is their first album? They stated they feel it's their first one where they felt like they got their sound right. That doesn't mean they think The Flood and their self-titled album don't mean anything to them.

It's kind of a let down how they didn't and don't acknowledge the Flood as much as Restoring Force. For me, even though Restoring Force is good and it's like their new beginning, the Flood still and so far will always be my favourite. In my opinion I just think it has more depth and emotion and meaning and passion...it's just so real and raw and it's relateable, not just to fans but to a lot of people. They don't talk highly of the Flood, even their first album, and it's just a bummer that it doesn't mean that much to them as it did with Restoring Force. But I totally get why though...as I said before, it's just a let down.
