No matter what this band releases I will forever hold them close to my heart, that's because before Aaron was in Of Mice & Men this band dug me out of a pretty massive hole and they continue to do so just by existing. I loved their first album, The Flood, Restoring Force, Cold War and so far this one is just as awesome! All of the albums have their own different sound and I admire that a lot. Yes Austin is gone but Aaron is keeping Of Mice & Men alive and I thank him for that. Awesome job to everyone in the band!

I’ve loved OMM for so long. Around the time cold world came out my house burned down and OMM helped me through so much. With Austin leaving I was worried what would become of the band...this. This is what they have become, it brings a tear to my eye, as much as the band has been through they’re still pushing through so fucking strong.

This song much better fits Aaron's style of voice (other than trying to stretch into some nu metalcore generality). Reminds me of restoring force which was his best work (the music is alright, but needs more substance instead of sprinkling some different sound for a riff or 2, then going into generic guitars or a breakdown). One of the better songs on the album

After a year of literally not listening to Defy, I'm coming back to it and just realized that it’s super diversified.. Like, you got Old School Nu Metal Songs, Modern Metalcore, Alternative (Rock) and even a Bit of Classic Metal/Rock and Overall, it’s pretty experimental for OM&M standards

Omg what a great track. I'm sorry dude but I've been waiting for Aaron to take the reigns for such a long time now. Been saying for a while. I never thought the band used him to his full potential. I've never been a huge OM&M fan but I loved Aaron in Jaimie's Elsewhere. Now that he gets to show his talent I can't believe how good this album sounds. And I know I might get some crap for this but I like this sound better than what this band sounded like with Austin in it. He's great but Aaron is something special.
