Jay…fair comment. Two things come to mind: 1) we’re taught that the least of these on earth will be the greatest in heaven. The good Lord gives and takes away. 2) our lives are but a mist in the wind…but our souls live on for eternity with or without him. And while God desires for no one to suffer the life you described, what he promises is a restored body like he intended (before the fall) in heaven if you follow Him.
