I miss Selena. She would have been a mega star by now but already was in my eyes. I don't think her dad is greedy, I think he wants ppl to remember his daughter. I think he had so much love for her and wanted to share her with the world as she loved to sing and wanted the same things. Kudos to you Chris for moving on, nothing to feel guilty about. He's not suppose to live in the past forever, that would be a horrible life. RIP sweet soul!

Her husband seems so genuine and tender-hearted. A love like theirs is impossible to find these days. I found it hard to deal with the fact that she was killed. I take solace in knowing that Selena would want us all to be happy and just pass on her legacy thru her music.

This lady was super approachable, like just chillin with one of your girls. Soooo super chill. Picture that one friend who is not frazzled by too much. She was like that. Forget all you think you know, you have no idea. I met her a few times she was not my comadre, but she had a great memory - and she always remembered a silly moment or two or three between us and my name...classy babe. Forget the Onda. The world needs more ladies like her.

She saw herself as a star but also one of the people. and it was magic when she was on stage because she really took pride in what she did and her and her connection with the fans and her public is something on one cant take. just like miley cyrus and her connection with little girls or michael jackson and justin bieber. So understand im not disrespecting her. im just telling it like it is and ask any other selena fan they will say the same. and if u cant really c the then ur not really a fan.

I remember the day when the news broke that Selena had been murdered. I was in 3rd grade along with all of my classmates in P.E. The principal actually went on the school's loudspeaker to announce her death (I lived in South Texas, by the way). Everybody was really upset about it -- all the girls were crying and even the guys were a bit choked up and silent for the rest of the day. She was taken in her prime. But she'll always live on in all of our hearts. R.I.P. Selena

I think they used that line/concept in the movie to imply her pregnancy just as they used the dropping of the white rose & empty auditorium to symbolize her death. The father had alot of control over the movie & I guess he either wasn't ready or just plain out didn't want to show that. It has been heavily rumored that she was indeed pregnant, somewhere in the first trimester, during the time of her death. I suppose her family will never clear that up. I can only imagine how painful the thought is

I don't think her father had anything to do with her death, that's absurd. BUT I do think he was trying to live his dream through his kids, specifically Selena. But I think they just want to help Selena become an even bigger star the way she always dreamed.. even though she'd dead now her name and memory are always relevant. There is no harm in that. Since she's been serving her life sentence, Yolnada has not said one negative thing about Selena. Of course, I'm not buying a single word from Yolanda about how much she loved Selena, and how close she was with her. It just sounds like another one of her manipulative sides. She's trying to get you to see things her way, but of course, she's failed miserably at that.

@ssuz1 the doctors tried to give her 6 blood transfusions before Abraham got to the hospital, but her veins were small due to a large amount of blood so they didn't work. She had already passed when he got to the hospital so he didn't have a say so. check your facts.

Also, if the incident had occurred a few weeks later she might had had a chance at life because it was noted on a documentary that there was a new medical development for incidents such as what happened to Selena. I think the intervewer was very professional. she may seem awkward becuase she may have been nervous herself. I mean this IS the Quintanilla family. Plus the topic was an emotional topic. Maybe she was afraid she'd say something to upset them. An interviewer's job is pretty tough and There are only so many ways an interviewer can act and maybe the questions were not hers.

We're not really fans if we don't think the same as you? Your standards on what a fan should be, act, and think like may not match with others. Micheal Jackson IMO was nearly the same as Selena when it came to fans. I don't think he rejected them, especially the women that always threw themselves on him. He held on to them, he had compassion, but because he was so famous, it was dangerous for him to be out in public a lot. So Selena probably had more freedom.

@tricey2300 In reply, I don't think that her father set out to hurt her or anything, but I do have a problem with him or anyone making sales from a dead loved one's talent. Keep her memory alive with her records at home or he** - make a shrine to her like they did for Elvis at Graceland if you must with all the old music intact never to be removed. But trying to resell all her old records is painful for her fans because she is no longer here. That's how I feel.
