Jennifer Peña's vocals as young Selena in the movie are highly comparable to the real thing in this homevideo. Just goes to show how powerful of a voice Sel had at that age. It was depicted excellently. It's so chilling yet so unbelievably sad that the world was robbed of this beautiful soul.

Para mi la mejor fue Alicia Villarreal con que talento interpretó la canción de Selena sin esforsarze tanto !! Es cierto que cada quien tiene su talento , pero la verdad les quedo muy grande el paquete de cantar las hermosas canciones de Selena que fue muy dificil interpretarlas como ella, eso nos muestra una vez mas porque Selena era la reyna de la cumbia y cualquier ritmo que le pusieran !! He visto este homenaje muchisimas veces , las veces que he llorado por los padres de Selena , sus hnos su amado Crhis y todo lo que le rodea !! si viviera selenita, estoy segura que volveria a morirse al ver lo que hicieron con su musica y exitos, pin ches arreglos e interpretaciones culebras de la gran mayoria de los artistas que interpretaron su musica....la unica que me gusto fue la de alicia villarreal, bobby pulido y pepe aguilar y obvio donde canta la hermosa selena.....por eso SELENA SOLO ES UNA

To think that all it took was for her to sing around her dad because she was jealous of AB getting to learn how to play the Bass. Makes you think about what Selena would’ve become had her dad not recognized her talent, or maybe she would’ve done music but not nearly explored her full potential due to a late start or what not.. Then it makes you wonder how many people in this world could be extraordinary in whatever they pursue but just can’t see the potential in themselves to work as long and hard as Selena and her family did to achieve greatness. I’m so glad she was able to be so great in the little time she had, an amazing person in general to top it all off

I wish Christina Aguilera would have been apart of this. Even though she was obviously making her own path but, would have loved to hear her sing a Selena song. She would have did an amazing job to any of those ballads!

Just shows that with all the talent in this concert NO ONE! had that stage presence, voice nor energy that Selena had. No shade to all of them who are successful in their own right. But Selena was on a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL! Alicia sang a great rendition. India as well! You can tell she was very nervous but, left it all on stage for La Reina. #SiempreSelena
