i can 100% relate with how a decline in viewership can heavily hurt your motivation and i understand that your choice of going to a new channel. while i haven't watched that much of your stuff, i know that you're forever gonna be not only a great editor but also a great person no matter what happens and i hope the best for the future.

the feeling is understandable. a few years back in 2022 i was afraid of the same thing happening to my channel. i thought that i couldn't really go further and that i would just be stuck in a loop of wasting time, which makes it so awesome that you're choosing to continue on and break that cycle with a clean slate. i've loved seeing your stuff and what you've been able to do in collaborative projects (alongside of the lovely and encouraging comments you've left on my YTPs over the years :D) if it's worth anything, one of the things that's gotten me through a bunch of creative anguish over the years is that your videos will always mean something to someone, and no matter if or how you might convince yourself otherwise, it'll always be the truth!

Honestly, seeing you tackle new sources for YTPs, even ones I've never heard of, was part of the appeal for me personally. It's because you bring your own unique spin to each source, and seeing how that blended into the material was awesome. You're clearly talented and your work deserves to stand above the dumb expectations some have of you. So as an old meme once said, "we will watch your career with great interest."

As I saw you on Paperking's Wow Wow Wubbzy Collab, I really liked your content, especially from your Doraemon YTPs. I really feel your pain, as I also abandoned my main channel to focus more on YTPs, the one and only that I cared about since 2021 until I finally returned. As an aspiring pooper myself, thank you for your influence for all these years. I hope you're doing well today. No matter what happens, we're always here at your side. You're not alone.

I almost feel in the same spot as you did, because my Thomas YTP's get more attention than the rest I make. However, I DO mean "almost", because a hand full of my non-Thomas YTP's do get some attention and it's probably not as bad as in your case.

I used to tell myself that views didn’t matter and I didn’t need a lot of subscribers. At this point I have to acknowledge that they did matter, dammit! Yeah, getting a lot of views isn’t the most important thing, but it sucks to spend time on something that no one ever watches. It’s a contributing factor as to why I lost interest in making videos (though it’s certainly not the only factor).
