Jessica what you are during for Caleb is what I did for my son. He will appreciate are it. Also when we go to visit him in Illinois I will take him shopping to help him out. Our kids are getting started and it does not hurt to help them with life’s basic kitchen items. It’s how we love on our adult kids.

Good job on setting Caleb off on a good foot! Take him a tablet and pen to start his grocery list. Our son scoffed at that suggestion but soon realized it was a must. All it takes is one morning to realize you are out of toilet paper and coffee. Waiting to hear the MRI results if Wyatt feels like sharing. Greetings to your mom! Until our next visit…. ❤ Momma G, who is nearly over the “shingles”!!

How neat. Beautiful cabin. It's so fun getting things set up for your children 1st place alone. I've been sending "goody" boxes to my son in Texas. LOVE the sound of the small planes going over. Miss that sooo much. My favorite is a Beaver on floatstyle. Such a deep powerful sound. My daughter, in while in highschool, fueled planes at Merril Field in Anchorage. By the way I made the Jam Bars, yesterday...delish!!! Sending the recipe to my daughter and sister. Thanks. Have fun and good luck with the state bird😉

Lol! Yes it’s a balance. Setting up things for her to live “not” so off grid and hard, does require having someone young and strong live through it. That way when she is here full time, it will be a life she can handle.

Still need Rice oats tea oil vinegar. Totally get it. Moved out in eighties. We spent $300 then and only got the background ingredients. No major foods. Still had to do a normal food shop. But we did have salt coffee mop soap. FYI min wage at that time was 3.15 per hour.

48 degrees! Yikes! mosquito 🦟 magnet? Never seen one. In Florida I see lots of zappers. Would citronella torches or candles work? In NY when we camped deep on the woods we would spray ourselves and still get bit up. Where we are in Florida, when the sun sets, they come out. Caleb seems to be doing fine living there. His awesome mom prepared him well for living there. Jessica, I’m not a wimp, but 30-35 years ago Lisa could do it. Getting old stinks.

We bought Yard Guard for when we camp and it works great…..we spray when pollinators are not flying around……I did my flower bed area because I’ve been stung , bitten and had a tick on me….I’m very allergic to bites. My brother came down with Lyme disease and was out of work for many months…he now has a autoimmune disease from the Lyme disease….. I was bitten by assassin bugs and became ill for two months ( while working in my zucchini patch) I don’t grow it anymore…..I love nature but I won’t become ill because I didn’t protect myself.
