My Grandfather was a dairy farmer and the garden was massive and spectacular! He spread manure on his fields, too, and the corn, which was fodder for his cows, were like 10 feet tall. The man was a magician with his crops, his pastures, his fruit trees, garden and more food that he and our grandmother could consume so the extended family was feed from Abuelo Urbano's Finca.

You can pinch the new growth on the tomatoes plants. They like used coffee grounds and banana peels.. Happppppy Canning

I thought you might be going to also show us what went wrong with the hose pad concrete pour. You mentioned that for some reason that didn't go as well as the others. Everything you've done has been great, so it's hard to believe something didn't turn out well. Not your fault of course, must have been faulty materials. 😉

Thank you for the update on your beautiful garden Jay & Jen. Cow manure that's an excellent idea. I grow in totes bc our ground was a junkyard before we bought it and let me tell you it's not the best yard but it's now ours. I kid you not every time it rains I'm constantly picking up metal and glass. I would just love to get a dump truck load of manure and dump it in the yard and grow a garden the easy way. My garden this year grew a little bit of vegetables but my zucchini & yellow squash didn't do so hot. Anyways besides all that my hubby and I like to live off the land we love to go looking for wild edibles and it's mushroom season. Which it's chicken of the woods 😋 boletes 😋 oyster mushrooms 😋 and hen of the woods 😋 oh gosh those are great in green bean casserole heck yeah & cauliflower mushrooms which are ok. Other than that yeah 👍 I'm thinking about getting a drone like that one that Jen was describing about that was so cool how it followed her ❤️ you guys are really doing really great living off grid 👍👍👍 I'm really proud of yinz. I love watching you guys yinz are our kind of people "down to earth" 😁 well take care see yinz in your next video and hope to see fiddle fart too lol

Enjoyed it all! Blueberries in Maine are grown on the ground and they use a special rake to harvest them. Down here the have bushes(there not as good). I couldn't see yours. You can use string to tie the tomato and cucumber plants to your wire trellis. I would thin out the suckered and some of the bottom leaves for air flow. Just a suggestion. Nice to see everything! I need to start a KZbin channel! That drone is...... yes! Some of my friends have gotten 2-4 electric bikes!! And camouflage cameras with night vision that detect movement and record! That would be great for Y'all!✝️🙏❤🇺🇸☘🍍🌻🤗

Your gardens are going great! Keep an eye out for more used solar panels. Put more panels on that mini split. It's going to start to cool off in the next few weeks and that mini split is going to be worth its weight in gold. You may be able to run it during the day and only need a fire at night. Stay safe and God Bless. Get in touch with Signature Solar in Texas and see if they can help you out with some EG4 batteries. Can't hurt, right?

@@OffgridwithJayandJen Let's keep our fingers crossed. It would be great to get two of the EG4 5,000 watt batteries. The key is the solar. Even in the winter you could run a Pelonis disc furnace off some panels to supplement the mini split. ( I get the Pelonis furnace used off eBay for about $45.) God Bless you both!

I read about some picture shortfalls of the Hover X1 and that they came out with an X2, but when I tried to buy one, they were nowhere to be found. It had so many improvements but it supposedly came out last fall, then gone, couldn't find an explanation. Do you have any contact information you could provide? I have a Mavic 3 and Mini 4 pro, but like the safety and indoor use safety but don't want to too much of a drop in photo quality.
