I did want to warn, though, those 4-wheelers can be fun, but they are also dangerous. My older brother spent several weeks in the hospital and healing up broken ribs, arm and collar bone after he flipped his late last summer. I'd hate to see anyone in your family get injured.

I had some trees cleared and my basement dug out by a Cat 953. What an incredible machine! It pushed over some massive oaks and pines like they were little twigs.

So happy to see you stumping your house site, preparing the next step. We had an excavator prep our raw woodland property site, putting the road in, prepping the cellar site and installing a bio septic system. Cost us 11K in 2016. My husband and his brother initially took down the trees and burned brush. They are both over 65. A real plus if you can do some of the work yourself. This is an exciting year and you will have it all video documented. How cool is that! February 20th here and lots of snow in New Hampshire. I do like your shorter snow season. Hoping to put up a fair sized green house this year. Spring fever has set in!

Looks really good. I think having the heavy equipment comes in to do the hard work and saves years on your life. Hubby and I had a company come in and clear all the underbrush, dead trees, and unwanted trees along both sides of the driveway, approximately 5 acres. Doing this ourselves would have taken us probably a year or longer. Thank goodness for heavy equipment!
