I stay in India, here there is a lot of natural causes which has compromised power and food from people. Most of them are either heavy rainfalls or landslides. Still there is no prepper community in India, even if there is some gun culture here. This channel has inspired me to work on prepping. I'm still 25 and it'll take time.. but yeah I'll do everything necessary to keep my community and family safe. For that I thank you for opening my eyes..😊

The Starlink actually runs on DC. When you run it on AC the wall wart just converts it to DC. They cut out because they don't like when the voltage drops under 12V. So you use a transformer to step it up to 24 or even 48V. Taking your DC battery bank, converting to AC, and then converting back to DC is the most inefficient way to run the Starlink. Especially with a huge inverter.

I just have a few big solar batteries with panels. This is a great system.

Y’all need to do your homework. Starlink still relies on base stations AND SERVERS on the ground that run off the power grid. If the power grid went down STARLINK WOULD NOT WORK

Amongst other systems that experience the same redundancy. We can prepare to cook, see with lights in the dark, heat and cool spaces and numerous indepentant things. Many comms and other networks will stop.

But these Base Stations and Servers are spread around the Globe so If the hole USA lost Power it still going to Work. The Satellite ist just gona connect to Canada

The bit about Starlink being most efficient on AC is just plain wrong and demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of these systems. Still, an otherwise clean build that should serve well for many many years.

I recently purchased the EcofFow delta 2, and will be adding their alternator charger. This gives power, ability to charge the vehicle battery, and ability to pull the power from the vehicle.

Take a look at Temporarily Offline ... he runs a starlink off 12v reliably he is a armature radio operator and lives in a camper full time traveling has a second channel for the camper life

Nice system… But way over my head for sure.. I would fuck shit up for sure.. I have a small eco flow with solar panels that will get me thru dire needs for power that’s all I’ll need for a long term no power scenario…
