Off Grid Series part 15: The Move

Good thing you are young folks. We moved here to TN back in June and we used a truck like you had, totally full to the ceiling, a full trailer/pickup, and my car on a dolly that was loaded too. That was our final move the first trip down was with my pickup hauling an enclosed trailer that was left here until our return a month later. Lots of work for two old folks. I'm 71 and my wife soon to be 70. We appreciated all the help we got on both ends for sure. Take care of yourselves.

Oh yes any help on a move is fantastic! It's a slow process getting everything and still not done yet... Still got a full trailer ready to go waiting in georgia. I forgot now how many loads we have carried already but its been at least a few with the trailer and cram packing the cars every time lol.. my problem is not enough room for storage and still havent brought the boat over yet. My sister is letting me store a ton of stuff at her house thankfully until i can haul all that out too. Long way to go.....

are you glad to be moved, that is the toughest part, moving the heavy stuff. are you renting or selling the house?

Oh im soooo glad most of the heavy stuff has been fought now, we've went back and forth on rent or sell but will prolly end up renting out the house, still have so much to bring to alabama, including the boat, thats something I just couldn't sell I spent so much time turning it back into a boat lol..
