What a nice setup with a spectacular view. The buildings look to be in great shape for such a harsh environment. Are they hard to build or can a person without a lot construction skills put one of these up? Thanks

What do you mean by canvas painted on? Did you put paint on canvas? Or is the canvas pre-painted?

On the plywood or rigid foam insulation I put a heavy layer of primer, then imbed the canvas into it. Then more primer to make sure it gets saturated. Using canvas or fabric to cover walls is an old technique used on houses. In fact my 90 year old house has fabric covering the interior walls. I adapted and modified the technique to use on exterior walls. It was initially an experiment and was very successful. It makes for a strong light weight weather resistant surface.
