It's starting to get colder here in the Med, so unfortunately not a whole lot of swimming is happening anymore, but we give you a peak into our normal day to day lives living aboard a sailboat including the never ending tasks of boat maintenance

You are so lucky you saw bodrum in low season. When we were there it was summer and it was like going to Bali walking through the markets. All the restaurant managers trying to get you in (especially when one of you is British). The gulet boats are beautiful 🤩. I’d love to go back there ❤️

Haha yes we’ve just been told by some friends it’s just crazy in season is turkey in general! Especially for sailing too Think weve definitely experienced a different side of turkey coming in autumn/winter They are aren’t they 😍😍

@@LeadingtheEscapade in the UK We have just sailed around the uk its all on out channel, I retire from the military next year so hoping to head into the med and head to Turkey. Whats your plans next year

Oh awesome! We’ll check your channel out Aswell 😆 we head back into Greece in mid jan then we’re thinking we’ll head east from there. We have to do the Schengen shuffle so probably Albania then Croatia and then quickly through Italy, Spain, Portugal etc. but depends what happens Aswell guess you have to kind of play it by ear

Great video! What month were you filming this? We are looking at sailing in the Bodrum area in early November this year and trying to figure out if weather, water temps, and wind would be good at that time of year. Appreciate any advice✌️

No macerator pumping? Not going to be far enough off shore? Turkish rules strict?

We have the manual pump toilet but in turkey you’re not aloud to pump off shore either, so you get a blue card when you check into the country and have to go into fuel docks/marina’s to get you tank pumped out Atleast once per fortnight Very strict! And their water isn’t as clear as Greece so don’t know how that works 😅
