@@lror I know brother, and it's no problem, cause I liked it none the less. It is just that in general guys like to get in arguments over LR, vs T/ta LC. Why not just enjoy the common pleasure and interest in these vehicles and what they are meant for? I myself drive an OLD 1988 Isuzu 4x4. Do I care what people think?, no! But I ejoy where it takes me😎😁! Thank you all the same, and keep 'em comming😎🥰

What are your thoughts on driving through the brakes like that landcruiser. I was doing that on the first big rock ledge on Whitemans Lane watagans and blew the front diff in my auto 105 solid axle landcruiser with 33's and twin locked.... Have rebuilt with solid pinion spacer but what's the go?
@lror4 жыл бұрын
Whitemans is a great track. I need to get out that way soon. Doubt the diff blew from driving through the brakes. Driving through the brakes generally lessens shock loading on cv's diffs etc. How did it let go on yours? The front diff on Toyota's are weaker in reverse than forward and you need to keep that in mind.
@offroad4x4624 жыл бұрын
Ive never blown a 80 front diff. Usally hubs or cvs let go first. So i rather keep them as a spare in the back than a diff centre. Just try not to boumce them. And make sure the back lash is set nice.
@miloshp28254 жыл бұрын
@@lror Thanks for getting back to me. Yep understand High cut pinion makes them weaker in reverse. I got the car onto the rockstep with all 4 wheels and then not enough traction to get past the last bit. All wheels were spinning forward only with lockers engaged. Was running 14psi. Maybe backlash was worn. Have heard with the 100/105's you need to take out the ABS relay to prevent abs trying to stop wheels spinning, but was under impresssion that was cancelled in low range and did not feel any pulsing or hear any ABS noise anyway. Hopefully the rebuild with solid pinion spacer will beep backlash set for good?
@miloshp28254 жыл бұрын
@@offroad4x462 Thanks for that. Second what LROR said about weak diffs in reverse. Definitely was not bouncing it. Anyway good thing is I replaced king pin bearings and wipers/felts etc so drives nicer now probably because my wallet is a bit lighter!

Could you please give me the on the suspension and springs etc, never seen a 110 flex like that here in the UK, & and the bloody things are built here " or were that is" that's the best most capable 110 I here ever seen, really interested in what you've done to it. Keep up the great videos 👍👍👍

What's the reason the land cruiser is on the brakes most of the time?
@lror4 жыл бұрын
For a bit more control I'd say.
@offroad4x4624 жыл бұрын
Its boosted so helps it not to just take off and brake something. And just gives a better control as you can control the speed you climb with the brakes. Sort of like using a clutch to control speed in a manual climbing rocks.
