Britt has always been such a natural talent at spotting from the very first videos when you guys were just getting started. Love to see you guys beasting now.

To be quite honest, Brittany and Kevin, y'all have a great teaching style and flow of information. It's not taking a sip from a firehose, but a steady stream of knowledge that can be digested and retained. I've watched y'all grow your own expiernece and I've been learning along the way with y'all. I've been watching for more than a few years now, and the Stepchild build has provided much inspiration for my own 2018 JLUR build. I'm out on the East Coast (Central Florida (Ocala)) so traction out here is scarce, but I've learned to make the most of what the trail provides me.

Happy to hear Brittany say, "put a rock here." One spotter, one voice. I have witnessed too many peoples' ego get them into trouble when you could get out, reassess your line and add a rock or two, or three or whatever. I'll add rocks rather than rip a hole in my door any day! Also, think of an "X" running between front and back wheels. One goes up and the other goes down. There was a spot in there where a rock under the back wheel may prop up the opposite front wheel. Math while wheeling, it's FUN! .. and safe!

0:02 That was an awkward rock placement spot. What a find / show. Good thing those are flexible tire-mud and sand slinging guards👍 When off in tight vehicle clearance situations, rarely have more than one other person, so low direction suggestion confusion. (The other person knows when to yell something like *STOP* ).(They know I do not see the hazard in the mirrors or down by the tires). 😊

@@LiteBrite Yeah, it's so much more difficult to wheel in a stick, imo. I wish I could run a second transfer case in my JL to get SUPER low (like the Yota boys, haha). All the stuff Britt was talking about with trying to mitigate the "rocking back and forth"...nigh impossible with a stick. I'd love to hear/see a video from you guys about wheeling in a stick. So what do you do after you lock the rear, but then need to turn? How do you get the rear to unlock when it is under torque? I've had this issue climbing a snow pile and needed to turn at the top. The rear locker was bound up and I could not get it to unlock. There was no way to climb it. My old Jeep was a clutched locker, so it would unlock and would easily have made it.
