max legal speed limit for mobilty scooters is 8MPH or 12.9Kph if ur on the road or half that if ur on the pavement. U can get a speeding ticket if ur caught going faster than that lol. They r faster than walking speed which on average is 2MPH. Some of them can go 31 miles before the battery needs to be recharged. But in the conditions they used them in this vid they would only get about 10 miles out of them. The silver TGA scooter 1 of the squadies was using was an 8MPH scooter that could do 31 miles and was a normal unmodified scooter. My scooter is a 4Mph and does 20 miles on a full charge. But if i tried using it off road like these guys i would be lucky to get 5 miles before the battery was flat.

I just noticed that both Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson are still wearing the tags on their winter hats in this episode. I nearly rolled out of my chair laughing when I noticed.
