Is that Altea? Had a few training camps there back in the day on the Graham Baxter Camps, which later became Sporting Tours. '94 - 2000. Used to have guest riders like Stevo, Marcel Wust, Robert Millar, Roger Hammond. Happy days.

Hmm distinct lack of Tom Pidcock. Wonder why....

Because he's left the team. It would be a bit odd for him to turn up to a training camp with Ineos when he's signed to Q36.5.

@johnwestwell2241 end of season. He's still INEOS rider this year.
@johnwestwell2241Күн бұрын
@@stevedouglas3975 He's signed to Q36.5. He can't appear in their team kit yet, but both parties agreed for him to leave Ineos part way through his contract (it ran until 2027). He's already been meeting his new team and discussing plans for next season, as his new boss said in a recent interview: "His attention to detail is next level," adds (Doug) Ryder. "He focuses on every millimetre; on the bike positioning and the bike set-up, to the nutrition, to the race programme, to the coaching. He met with all the leaders in our team... the head coach, the head nutritionist, the head doctor, the head of performance and was challenging and asking questions." So why would he be at an Ineos team camp for next season?
@johnwestwell2241Күн бұрын
@@stevedouglas3975 Because he's signed to Q36.5. You seem to have had my previous reply removed, where I explained to you what has happened. Here's a clip of him training with his new team: kzbin.info3lpqSJ_4se8

Another podium in a grand tour in 2024 for G! He’s nearly 40! The younger riders need to buck their ideas up, learn from G and start getting some results!
