This area is such a gem! I love how quiet and peaceful the Bighorn National Forest is compared to the more popular areas of WY. Thanks so much for watching!

Grew up in Lovell and the Big Horns was our playground. Tubing in the winter, hiking and fishing porcupine creek and of course shell canyon. Even had football camp in the big horns. Have a heck of harmonica player ( jazz )in Sheridan that I went to school with. And btw, I was stationed in the Netherlands for 3 years and frequently visited Belgium (Antwerp, Brussels) and enjoyed their outstanding beers!😊

We love the bighorns- we live in Gillette so go there all the time…. Rain in June is typical! We haven’t hiked up to the lookout- we tried to make it up there on the snowmobiles last winter but didn’t get all the way. Might have to check it out this summer.

My wife and I absolutely love the Bighorns. We usually camp closer to burgess junction area. The ATVing is a highlight with all the trails there. Also check out Devil’s Canyon overlook, feels like a person took a wrong turn and ended up in Utah for a minute.

We forgot how beautiful the Bighorns were! We drove through that area back in 2011 on our way back from Yellowstone. So it was nice to actually spend time there (although it was cut short)! Can't wait to go back, it's stunning!

I hope yall end up at Shell Canyon and Medicine Wheel. Those are seriously my 2 favorite places on earth.

Yes, we went to Shell Falls and through the canyon! Didn't make it to Medicine wheel because of the weather (it was on this list). However, we will definitely be back in the area again - we loved it!

Little town of Buffalo is fun. Has anyone here watched Longmire? Been to a few Longmire days and drove through the area.

Hi Jeanie Marie, My wife and I have been following your channel, we have the Palomino HS8801, and we have a question about the model you guys have . We have the same size holding tanks that you have and was wondering how you can go a week, specially off grid with out having to dump every two days. Thanks for your time.
@JeanieMarie
@JeanieMarie Жыл бұрын
Hey! Yes, we have to dump grey water about every 2 days, but black tank is more like 3-4 day. We are always on the move so it hasn't affected us yet. But if we were stationary boondocking for a week, that would be more challenging.

@@JeanieMarie Good to know for sure, thanks for replying back so quickly, appreciate it. Have you had any issues with the black tank dumping completely?

Been following you guys for a while, you both are awesome and love the videos! Question: do you ever miss Minnesota? Excluding the winters 😂
@JeanieMarie
@JeanieMarie Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I appreciate the kind words! Honestly, so far the only things we miss are our family in MN as well as the North Shore. Otherwise, we are pretty happy here in CO :) Thanks for following along on all our adventures!

Ya I don’t blame you one bit, the winters can take a toll here although I love the Summers here in MN. The west is amazing though. If you want to eat good when you’re out there in the Tetons this Summer Jackson Hole is pretty amazing. Keep doing what you do ✌️

Did you have to reserve that spot in advance? Or is it a boondocking* area?

Great job on the stir fry! If you really want to get crazy, you try can substituting Thai fish sauce instead of soy sauce. You could say that it adds depth and umami flavors... but I won't, because that would make me sound like a pretentious twat.
