Up here in Albion NY we have a civil war cemetery and across the road is a community cemetery which includes the veterans.

Nice video ya'll. Man, all those folks died young of illnesses or surgeries that are just no big deal now. Dying of influenza ( the flu), appendicitis, cholera, pneumonia, childbirth, diphtheria. All things we don't even think of now, were once a death sentence. Makes you stop and think a little, or it should. Thank ya'll so much for all the effort ya'll put into these videos. Very much appreciated. God bless ya'll and stay safe on your travels to these locations for your service stories.

I didn't realize how hilly it was in that state. The scenery was as pretty as it is. Lots of people with all the same last names too.

This reminds me of when I was a grade school janitor in Pound in 1983, and a woman that attended an after school activity there was shot and killed at her home after attendance. The husband tried to say it was a robbery going wrong but investigation showed that the windows were broken from the inside out, and the trajectory of the bullet indicated she was shot from the roof of the home. I was set to testify of her whereabouts on the day of her death but he ended up pleading guilty in a plea bargain. I remember the husband trying to buddy up with me while he was out on bond.

My mom is a Boggs. My grandmother born Norton was raised dirt poor, her idea of tomato soup was a can of tomato paste and water. These early death don’t surprise me. Grandma, Peters, went to marry my grandpa and live most of her life in a home, raise 3 daughters and ever go hungry.

Infant Mullins the father's name & then wife. I know times were different. That poor woman losing a baby & then treated like that. If I were her I would have wanted to smack somebody that was so rude to engrave the stone that way. I bet her husband was very controlling.
