Great episode guys! Always up for some Saxon. However, according to Wikipedia, Saxon has 24 studio albums. Which is still quite a lot. Off the top of my head, I can think of a couple of hard rock / metal bands that have more studio albums. Uriah Heep has 25 (still wish I could have caught their tour with Saxon earlier this year)... there's also the german band Rage who have 26, plus about 10 EPs!

Yeah… my bad… its not Saxon who has 29 albums… its Alice Cooper (if you put the group and solo stuff together). 😋🤷🏻♂️. I dunno why i associated Saxon with 29…

Saw Saxon on the Judas Priest tour along with Uriah Heep. Bought both Saxon's & Uriah Heep's latest albums on the strength of that concert. Loved both albums. If ye reckon the two other newer Saxon albums are even better I'll have to check them out too.

@@davebrowne8252 the first 4 are the classic albums (with a so-so singer)…. Their later albums they got it right with their singers…. John Sykes is on album 2-3 i believe…

Love Saxon , even some of their not " liked " albums .., ie Crusader , many hate it but it was not that bad ..,

PS going to have to look out for that Contrarians episode , sounds great , so many bands , legacy bands still popping up , active , and they are killing it ,
