One of the best interviews of His Holiness and it’s due to good rapport and knowledge from Shekar Gupta Ji. Also in honour of HH birthday thank you for The Print to republish this which is still very much relevant.

Sorry, no disrespect intended but, Democray is NOT "stepping back", and America will always be a friend of Tibet. Is it being challenged? Yes. But then, it always is you see, by those with darker hearts who would wish to rule over and enslave people rather than live eye to eye with them. Don't lose heart. 🤗🙋🏼♀️
The amount of ChiCom propaganda materials you pushed out here is hilarious 😂😂. Btw, talking about the truth, stop eating each other. Guangxi Massacre gives a glimpse of modern China's direction and ideology.
Please remember how dalai lama escaped Tibet. Chinese military had made plans to capture him. In such desperate times, he had to travel secretly through the rough mountainous terrain in cold weather. He sought refuge in India. On his request, Indian government allowed many refugees in India. China, on the other hand, out of animosity and hatred, attacked India to take revenge from India for allowing dalai lama to stay as a refugee. After all these, who trusts Chinese Communist Party? If Dalai Lama had lived in China, he would never have enjoyed the free speech and freedom which he enjoys in India. In China, there is lack of free speech. There is the big firewall. CCP controls media as well as social media. Under such a religiously intolerant government, who expects them to allow Dalai Lama to share his teachings with the world.
Go and read about tianamen square massacare of your communist party ,do you think a country where you run tanks on common people negotiation is possible??

The Dalai Lama’s silence regarding the Rohingya genocide is shameful
@tenzinthinley87642 жыл бұрын
Just google Dalai Lama past statement on the Rohingya. And it is also rich to be so demanding when boatloads of Rohingyas are inhumanly turned back from Muslim majority countries. So first ask from your own people to help them

he was not silenced…. Ask Middle East why they are silent? Please know that Dalai Lama is not like pope. He is spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism. There are many type of Buddhism. Mahayana and Hinayana… Vajrayana…he has no control over all type of Buddhism. He can advice people to not act against violence. But he can’t stop them. Myanmar doesn’t follow Vajrayana Buddhism (Tibetan Buddhism) … so to them he is some spiritual guru of different type of Buddhism. Please educate yourself.
