It all started when…
In December 2015 we packed up and hit the road for what we thought would be a 12 month Lap of Oz. Fast forward 7 years and we decided to create a video series of our travels to show you all what it’s like to live life on the road!!

Some great country around the top of Curtis island Keppel rocks, Keppel creek NE corner of Curtis Island, good fishing and mud crabs... good sandy camping spot up the creek a bit or there was years ago when I was there... just pick your weather and tides ... you can launch boat from Gladstone or the narrows and make your way around North Curtis Is.

Another awesum video mate, also when it comes to showering in the boat, rivers etc I found a mob from Byron Bay who do body wash etc called " Ocean to Outback Bodywash" its all natural and just washes off and is safe for the environment. I'm sure Bec will love it. And no I'm not associated with the brand at all just love using it ha ha. 🤙

Yeah for sure. As I showered in the boat any soap was caught in the hull and drained out when I pulled the bungs out and washed the boat back on land. But yeah I’ll be looking into that body wash for sure. Thankyou

Lovely Ep and spot your boats purfect for them solo trips. you need a 7m cabin platey for fam trips, Love the Solo trips I Am leaving soon with my old 80 series with our 5m tinny in tow as soon as the PDR is open going up near Weipa for 4 to 6 weeks chasing reefies, and pigs, then going across the savannah way to Delta Downs or 7Emus or Limmen river for few weeks. then to Katherine then on to kununurra and Up to Mcgowans and Honey Moon bay for 4 to 6 weeks.

Spent a few months in FNQ, particularly in the Cape Tribulation area. My favorite place on the planet, hands down. While I had a life changing experience, I was always feeling anxious though about the wildlife, be it crocs or spiders. Even walking in the shallows, blue ringed octopus , jelly fish or stone fish. I was always vigilant and on edge lol....
