Thanks again for putting a smile on my face to kickstart my day! Enjoying watching Tia overcome her fears and building in confidence! This trip has certainly been character building with all its challenges and the unknown around every bend (for you guys and the viewer! 😬) - gripping, nail-biting stuff at times! For the record, I too have had a fear of thunderstorms as well as balloons from a young age and then earthquakes later on having experienced the epicentre of one here in Aus, but with time and having to be brave in front of my kids, have managed to overcome all. Keep safe!

I was watching this with my wife, and when you started riding up that really small path with literally a massive fall to the left, she yelled out, 'F*$# that! Those two have some balls. What is this, Jackass 5?' I looked at her and said, 'They'll watch this again in 10 - 20 years and say, what were we thinking!'. Oh to be young and carefree lol.

Funny because me in "10 - 20 years" looked back at working in front of a computer doing the same thing year after year, asking myself "was I thinking?". Glad I found a path next to a cliff on the other side of the world, at the best view this planet has to offer. One of these things make feel alive, the other the opposite of that. ........ Woe to be old and regretful. lol

Finally watching this last instalment and the wait was worth it !! The landscapes are just so breathtaking and I am envious of the experience you are all having on the bike rides. I must say, the revelations of personal fears and habits (bless you) are quite a warm and human touch to your vlogs. 👍 The roads/tracks that you ride on are certainly challenging at times and as has already been said, Tia you have gained so much confidence in handling the bike *take a bow* . I am looking forward to the next stretch of your travels. Travel safe ❤

Well done Tia for negotiating that narrow windy track! China & Vietnam fought a war in that region in Feb/March 1979 (Sino-Vietnamese War). China launched attacks across that border and captured several towns, including Cao Bang and Lao Cai, to the east and west of that arrowhead point you referred to. The conflict ended with China’s unilateral ceasefire and withdrawal.

Tia is practically a pro at motorbiking now. Amazing progress in her skill levels - I'm so impressed! Those narrow roads cannot be easy or safe, but they sure are fun to watch. I figure the corn is there for you to grab on should you off the side of the cliff. LOL! You guys skipped the Ma Pi Leng Pass and the boating at the bottom of the canyon, though. If you ever do it again, you can hit those as well as Mai Chau and maybe bike over to Yen Tu and Pu Luong...lots of places left to explore up north, for sure.

Re. bugs getting in the face and helmet and being too hot to put the visor down , I use a mesh visor when I'm brushcutting or chainsawing , I'd think that would be good to stop bugs but allow airflow . I did a quick search for "motorcycle helmet mesh visor " and came up blank , all results were for arborist or hard hat style helmets . I reckon if I were riding again ( I haven't ridden in years ) I'd get one of those mesh visors and make it fit the bike helmet , even if just using velcro tape . Good idea or no ?

Again a fabulous video presentation guys and what a ride ! Stunning scenery and I loved the 'tracks/paths' that you rode on. Took me back to my trail bike riding days :) Excellent editing again and very informative for others to follow. Cheveyo am I right, you are using Google Maps for directions? If so how did you find it's accuracy? P.S. Love the drone work and getting the three of you riding your bikes was impressive not to mention skillful. Sad to see you moving out of Vietnam soon but thanks for the ride guys!!:) Tia, nice work on the bike and at those heights and narrow paths you are officially a 'bikie'..lol Cheers..Noel

From Perth. One of my work colleague's pre-covid went on a dirt bike adventure trail guided tour in Nepal with his mates . He came off his bike on one those high mountain trail passes and cascaded over the edge and was seriously injured (head injuries, broken bones, internal bleeding). He was air-lifted out to a local hospital. Had to be evacuated back to Hospital here in Perth. Placed in a coma and near death due to brain damage. Wife & young kids back here were devastated. A year or so later he was declared permantly disabled with non repairable brain damage to be confined to a home for disabled for the rest of his life. The financial cost of the medical bills & emergency flight back to Perth was huge and a massive impact on his family & parents. Their lives are shattered forever
