Nylander always "shows up" for playoffs... but overall, I think LAST year's team was better configured for a playoff run than THIS year.... Last year's lineup just needed to "gel" more and have an opportunity to gear up for playoff style hockey.

I still think this year's team is better. They're tougher, though granted, too eager yesterday. They will tone it down tonight. If the Core show up, Sammy just has to play a solid league average game and Leafs win.

leafs give up too many goals to beat Boston. Five goals per game now , six games in a row won't cut it against a good defensive minded opponent. Did you watch the Florida game yesterday. That's how it is done.

That Florida game looked like it was being played on fast forward. The Leafs can look like that SOMETIMES but never for a full 60 minutes.

I'm not writing the team off yet. If they win tonight they go home 1-1; not a bad state of affairs by any means. Let's see how game two plays out.
