Thank you, Richard, for taking us with you to the sale. It was interesting to see all the implements, not so new, and those collectibles that might go in a garden, painted, and no longer functional. My neighbor in Florida, who came from a farming background as many of us older folk did, had an old plow, cleaned up, painted, and sitting in a "place of distinction on a stone gravel altar" in the corner of his front yard. Makes you wonder if maybe it was something that had belonged to his dad that he couldn't part with... And, yes, I do agree that a "farming" get together is a great way to meet up with community and something that is so important in these times of isolation. So again, thank you, for taking us with you and for sharing. Looking forward to part 2.

6:20 Ransomes spud spinner/harvester , 8:03 perry loader/bale slave grab , just lifts bales on top of the trailer have to stack them before it and stack on trailer after it. 9:40 mconnel power arm with digger attachment could have them as a finger mower hedge cutter attachment and a cement mixer attachment

Absolutely loved this video, bought back so many memories, my Dad had an McCormick International 434 to use with scraper, trailer and dung spreader, quite often chain harrows and flat roller too, most jobs for the dairy herd he did, love the old International combine too

The IH 523 hydro is a rare beast, 30 years ahead of its time! I had one and it was a good tractor but got hard to find spares. I saw a restored one make VERY strong money.

I like the International's, last few farm auctions I went too every there was a group who for their fun just jacked up the bids for their fun of seeing you paying too much, I did tryed to bid on a single cambridge roller once for a small job but when I saw who was bidding against me with their mates grinning away, I stopped, only for him saying out loud " s#!t I'm stuck with it !!!! " and I grinned away thinking to myself serves you right !!! 😁👍

It's a sad day. Any sales like this one in our town are held in the mart. Int 674 was first tractor i drove. My uncle showed me how to drive it in hay field. I was 10 our 12 at the time
@davidedge21893 жыл бұрын
Same for me.We used to cart silage in salop trailers pulled by the IH .Then it became the scraper tractor ,but the front wheel bearings didn’t last because of the slurry.I can’t remember where we sold it.

Now if they stuck "modern art" on the title of the sale surely it would of doubled the sale price at least. 😜😅. Nice weather sales also increases prices alot. Was there such a thing as a bargain there in your eyes? Thanks for letting us wander with you. Stay safe 🏴

Old rusty is king for yard art👍 just looking at an old disk harrow or hay rake in your front yard reminds you of long hours, years, seasons of hard back breaking toil. If all that old equipment could talk. It's not junk, but Junque🇬🇧🇺🇲👍

Very exciting!! I collect petrolenia, old Castrol, Shell oil cans etc.. Oh please buy Harry his first vintage tractor. He would quit school and work with it everyday, probable sleep in it. Oh please buy him a tractor, it will be the shinniest kit in the yard 👍🤣✌️👍😢👍👍🇺🇲 The farmer Fred is sad to be 72, 2 years older than me. Sad to see your life, your passion sold off, end of your era don't you know💚😢👍💔
