Exciting start! You’re going to have a ball 😃 I’ve toured France, Italy, Austria and Switzerland solo and loved it. There’s no-one else to please other than yourself and that’s liberating. At restaurants (alone) in the evenings I used to occupy myself (between courses) by writing a diary of the day’s events. Have a great time 👍

@@crumblymal8479 thanks, its good to hear that other people can understand. It can be sooo confusing, but I think you must remember that a-lot of people have been and currently are going through it. You are not alone in your journey ✌️. That is exactly what motorbiking did and still does for me even when I am at my worst. I find it simplifies everything and you can just focus on riding. Keep on riding my friend, you are not alone 👍. Hang in there I know it can be hard.

Sounds like the makings of an amazing trip. How was the touring screen on the A3, and how was the check in process at Portsmouth. I'm planning the same route in about three weeks time.👍
@redangrevival
@redangrevival 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Glenn, thanks yes it is incredible! A special trip. The touring screen was brilliant, especially good in the rain. Still do get some wind buffeting on my helmet but it is much better than without it!! Defiantly recommend it for motorway miles 👍 Check in at Portsmouth was very easy, as long as you have prepared in advance. Passport, proof of COVID vaccination or negative test result. Also go online and fill in the Spanish requirements for entering the country!! Very easy process if you have that done before hand. It an incredible trip, I think you will love it 👍

@@redangrevival thanks so much for the reply. Really helpful and makes me feel more confident for the trip. Glad the screen is working out - it definitely looks the part and improves the look of the bike I think 🙂

@@thebusinessbuddha1278 Yes I am 5 foot 9 inches. I love the look of the screen. As for wind protection it is very good at taking wind off of my body, however I do get a little bit of buffeting around my head at higher speeds (60mph +). Overall I think it is a good screen and I prefer the bike with it. I can see over the top of the screen by a couple of inches. I hope this helps with your decision. Also enjoy your Speedmaster 👍

Hi Simon, thank you very much I really appreciate that. O wow what a great trip, I would really like to tour around Portugal some time. I have heard lots of great things but have never been myself. Thanks, I edit the video with "Final Cut Pro X", but to be completely transparent I do have a bit of professional help as well!! If you look in the description of my latest videos I have links to all of the camera/audio and filming equipment that I use. Many thanks, and all the best to you for the New Year 👍

@@redangrevival Hi there,Thank you for taking the time out to reply to my message. If you are interested in visiting Portugal,come on over in July when we have the biggest motorcycle festival in the south of Europe in Faro which is the capital of motorcycling in Portugal. This year will be the 36th festival and will attract thousands of bikers dud to the festival being cancelled for the past two years. It would be great for you to make a vlog on it and enjoy all the excitement of this 3 day bash. Here is some information on it… Now in its 36th year, the Faro Motorcycle Rally is the biggest biker gathering in Southern Europe, drawing in around 20,000 bikers from the Thursday right through to Sunday night (2oth to 23rd July). Indian Motorcycle has been attending the rally for a number of years now and it has everything you want from a biking festival; hot and sunny weather, sparkling sea, great roads and plenty of live music and entertainment. This year we’ll be holding a BBQ on the Saturday night especially for our IMRG members. Highlights at Faro include: 24-hour bars - Live concerts each night - Erotic shows each night - Wet T-shirt contest - Bike Show - Trade stands - Biker Fair - Tattoo stands - Tattoo contest - Camping Best regards,Simon✌️
