When we travel local, (in the state) we pack with the clothes on hangers, packing cubes on the drawers and we unpack in 10 minutes

Good idea! I guess I could take some hangers with me, I use the thin, velvet ones so they wouldn't take much space in the suitcase. Thanks for the tips!

Pack the hang up clothes on the hanger just lay them in. Tuck the hanger down into the clothes then my husband and I work together he pulls it out of the Case hand to me and I hang it up boom boom boom it’s all done.

I was on the Jade for the first time last year (and our first cruise). It was a Mediterranean trip for 10 days and was wonderful. It was nice seeing some of our favorite places on the ship. The aft deck outdoor bar was wonderful to sit outside and have a drink and enjoy the views.

Y'all stressing out my autistic brain! I mean you have to be at the cruise port, and your bags aren't packed, rechecked 15 times, you haven't filled up your gas tank or your wallets, and you need to stop for coffee on your way. All of that would have been done days ago if it were me. You aren't on time if you aren't there early and sitting scrolling on Pinterest out of complete boredom. My brain will get overloaded and I will have a meltdown and probably start crying by the time I get on the ship if I was that close to schedule.

For one, its 8:50 am, cant even sign in until 12 or even 1pm, so they have minimum 3 hours to get there, good grief.

You have to understand, though, that this is his job. For us that get to do this twice a year, we are more on time. If you do this twice a month and it's your job, it would be different. It's just another day. Also, as often as he packs for his job, it probably takes him 10 min. Going to ATM takes 2 minutes.

My next cruise is September and my Case is 3/4 packed already …(I washed my cruise clothes after my last cruise and put them right back in the suitcase) 😊

We have friends who cruise at a moment's notice...they have a cruise closet with everything needed for a rapid deployment. They just pull clothes and stuff out and they're off! I need an exacting list of not just clothes, but also the odds and ends that make a cruise enjoyable for us.

My first NCL cruise was 10 day Caribbean cruise on the Jade. It was a birthday present to myself for my 70th, with my sister and bil helping me celebrate... and to ensure I would becspoiled, we had a 2 bedroom suite in the Haven! Fell in love with this size ship, so when planning Alaska cruisetour for my 75th and bil's 71st, we chose Haven again on the Jewel. Have a ball, and if you happen to eat at Cagneys, order the banana banoffe for dessert 😊😊😊😊😊

I don’t know if you remember me? But I was the star struck guy who yelled “HI TONY!!!” When you were on your balcony on your first Disney cruise a couple of years ago docked in Nassau. I was on my balcony on the NCL ship docked across from you (either the Gem or the Breakaway I can’t remember) Anyway I noticed Jenny didn’t comment on the horrible and dry looking chicken wings from O’Sheehans’! They used to have the best chicken wings! Even when O’Sheehans used to be Blue Lagoon! They always used to have a breading and fried them with a nice crisp! Now NCL just wants to save money and give their customers dry chicken wings!!! Try to have fun anyway! Great video as always!!!

Cabins on that class of ship are SO tiny. We sailed with 3 sisters in one cabin and when the chair was made into a bed, it was wall to wall beds! It was quite funny. The next time, we did a mini suite which was much better.

I really don't like these hangers but I guess cruise ships and hotels use them so people don't bring them home. I do the same as Jenny, I unpack right away when we get the suitcases. I like that it's done for the rest of the cruise. And after, drinks! 🍹🍷Then I feel I'm relaxing. Come on fun time! 😊

1) we asked our steward for the extension cord and distilled water. 2) there should be a USB in the lights on the wall above the bedside table. 3) we stored our suitcases and extra stuff under the bed 4) the whiskey bar/ wine bar are awesome!

On my 2nd cruise my friends dropped us off at the port. We hurried to grab our luggage out of the trunk, and I left my purse with our passports in it in the car's backseat. Thank goodness I had my phone in my pocket! I called , and they laughed because they were only two blocks away, but I'd almost had a heart attack,lol. I will never make that mistake again!

We left all our cash one time. Years ago when cash was used. No atms. Had to take a cab back home from airport and back!

@9IslandGina then there was the time we went to the airport to fly to Walt Disney World. I drove my husband crazy, repeatedly asking him if he had his phone in his pocket, because we are always losing each other in public. We got to the airport and I discovered I'd left my phone on the charger at home. I use a packing list. He doesn't. Somehow, we managed not to lose each other for 7 days!

We just came back from a Baltic cruise on the NCL Dawn. great ship , great crew no complaints . Embarkation was a bit of a pain disembarkation a whole lot easier. Love those pretzel bites.

Have a wonderful and memorable cruise. Dinner looked amazing, we enjoy 1 night specialty dining each cruise, usually steak house. I like your cabin, although we love decorating our cabin door. Carnival still ok with the decorating, and the cabin steward brings the cord. Sure wish we were cruising with you, or any where as far as that goes!!!! Next one in August for us. Enjoy every minute.

How I would love to just drive straight to the port instead of flying four and a half hours then a one and half hour coach ride to the port . We are certainly ready for our first drink by the time we get onboard!

Cruised Jade in December, S Caribbean 2 weeks (out of Tampa). Enjoyed the ship (especially the smaller size). But it was the only cruise on which I was actually hungry. Check out the little buffet aft of the main buffet for between times. It was fun seeing so many guests utilizing the buffet space (lots of windows) for playing games. Have a great cruise! Just offer two weeks ago , shame you weren’t on the cruise we were on Tony. That was our third time in Jade; great ship that manages the crowd very well. We as did others did experience trouble with the flush in our stateroom like others and did to NC’s credit received a $200 on board credit. Leaves from pier number 10 all the time lol. Enjoy the nice older ship.

Our favorite ship is the Pearl, Jade's sister. I truly think we had more storage than you have and had 3 people in our cabin! I really enjoy the feel of O'Sheehan's over The Local even if the menu is the same. Hope you have a wonderful cruise.

Quick tip for you Tony. Great stirrup key, rent a clamshell on the beach and it is considered an excursion. Excursion holders get priority on the tenders. We were able to get on the first tender out with zero issues.

The upbeat music you play at the start is good feels. I bring my own extension cord. It has a three outlet and two USB head. _Highly_ recommend. The only time the O'Sheehan's, (thanks for pronouncing it right BTW), menu changes, is breakfast. I find O'Sheehan's to be usually good, but never great. I only recommend it for quick and easy food so you can take a drink. Heartbroken that Cagney's has dropped the 20oz. Porterhouse. I'll have to resort to the ribeye from now on. LOL. Major first world problem.
