I like the honesty, but seems like a bad way to go about liking someone. It's like someone who hit on who you were dating not hitting on one person. Us fans need to tone it down a bit going on about Michael and Lindsay's kid. Some of the comments I've been seeing are downright creepy and disturbing. Remember, we don't actually know these people. We are not factors in their lives. We simply enjoy videos they make. Maybe that's just me, maybe I *am* too uptight but... I ain't saying we shouldn't talk about their kid at all but I think a sense of boundaries is lacking with some comments... On a different note, I'm with Ryan. Exactly, I start feeling some concern for the emotional well-being of said people. I get that a big part of the whole KZbinr/community thing is that emotional connection, or the illusion of one. But it is just that, really, an illusion. I've seen some people, don't want to name and shame, talking about the Jones' kid like they'll actually have a degree of involvement in their life. People saying that if anyone ever breaks her heart they'll be there to comfort her and sort any arseholes out... That's fucked up! It's not just isolated to this situation, I've seen people acting similarly about Millie. I get that some people really care about being part of the RT community and that's cool. Not criticising that, not in itself. But yeah, boundaries. What goes on in the lives of the hosts outside of videos should really be their business, they'll share what they want to share when they want to share it, and I feel that a small portion of the community loses sight of that at times.

I get where your coming from when you say this and some fans can be creepy and clingy and inappropriate. However, I think maybe calling it the "Friendship Simulator" is going a little too far. Maybe you didn't mean it in any harsh way, but it kind of belittles how people feel. Are we really friends with any of these people? No. No, we are not. And in reality, we don't really know them. But they have chosen to put a good part of their lives online to be viewed by people, a LOT of people, who have genuinely come to care and love these idiots. So when someone says they are crying, for example when Michael tweets an image of his daughter that's not bad or wrong. They are happy for this person whom they have come to care about. Should their be baundaries? Absolutely! If this world had taught us anything it is that Fans can be terrifying and creepy. But that's not everyone, and the majority of people just want to give a little tiny piece of themselves to help or comfort and express an emotion that will give back at least a fraction of whatever they feel these people have given to them. I'm sorry for ranting at you, I just felt that someone should point this out. This "relationship" that we all have with the people we view nearly every single day or every once and a while is not one that is normal, since we don't really know them and they do not know us. But is IS REAL. We care about them and show it in our own way. So if you see someone stepping out of line, being a jerk, threatening, or doing anything harmful I would encourage everyone to speak up and point out what is not OK. But support those who just want to express that they care. Sorry again, I didn't want to go off on you, but this is just something I felt I had to say. Thanks.

For ARK, definitely do a private server, all of the already established servers have major tribes who control the whole island, generally Chinese hackers, and also be wary of an extremely large difficulty decrease once you have flying dinosaurs, this is speaking from 450+ hours, it is amazingly fun though!

Relating back to ark, you can go into a sort of creative mode as the admin and you can place your own buildings and such. This would be handy so when everyone joins you have the same xp ect. If you're looking for goals in the game your best bet is to have your houses already there and focus on doing the caves and the bosses. This will give you hours of content alone; building your arsenal, making your armour, and taming your own animals. Taming your own animals is an entire process involving starting from the bottom of the food chain and working up. To tame the next animal it is recommended to have the appropriate kibble which is used by mixing farmed vegetables and eggs layed by dinosaurs. There are plenty of mods to mess with. The ones I suggest that you should definitely have are S+ (a building mod that allows you to pick structures back up and have more creativity in general) and corpse finder. In case you do die. Lastly taming a pteranadon early on to get around is the best thing you can do. Ps stay out of the swamp

Such a shame to see hate thrown at Friday the 13th the game when they don't understand how the game even works. Jason doesn't get all of his powers at the start of the match so the counselors have time to get things done with relative safety. Jason is extremely easy to deal with if you have 3 or more people with weapons because you can stun lock him. and Jason is supposed to be op. The game is ABOUT JASON so it would be kind of shitty if it were just another dbd clone where survivors just run around for the entire match while the killer chases them. He can't sense you across the map UNLESS you are full on sprinting the entire time with a loud character (tbh you are asking for it if you are). He only senses you in red if your character is scared shitless by being in the dark, alone, or seeing dead bodies. The level system actually FAVORS THE COUNSELORS because a lvl 89 player on Jason isn't any stronger than a lvl 1 player on Jason however the 89 player will have more perks for counselors to make escaping easier. The only downside the this game is it's absolutely shitty launch. Started on a Holiday weekend and the servers were no where near close to what they needed them to be at. Please don't shit on the game unless you actually know how it plays out.
