Off Trail Thermal Features Yellowstone National Park

I took my son Dustin and his wife Becca on an off trail adventure near Lonestar Geyser in Yellowstone National park. It was amazing to see some seldom seen features in Yellowstone. Please note you must be careful doing things like this. sometimes the crust that forms over the thermal area is brittle, and you can fall in boiling water. PEOPLE HAVE DIED. We were careful to stay off the thermal features. Also be sure to carry bear spray. Otherwise have fun and adventure on!!!
