Today I'm reviewing the Nike Off White Air Jordan 1 ! The Off White Jordan 1 is part of The Ten collection which is a collaboration between Nike and Off White on ten Nike, Air Jordan, and Converse sneakers. Virgil Abloh created the shoes by deconstructing each one and making them seem unfinished and industrial. The Off White Jordan 1 is the most sought after silhouette out of the ten and is based on the Air Jordan 1 Chicago colorway. Congratulations on a dope pickup. Personally, I understand that this is more of an art piece than something I'd wear. I can appreciate the art of the sneaker and Abloh's vision, but I don't see them as wearable IMO. Does that make sense? for me it’s the whole reconstruction and different materials used compared to original Jordan 1s. I don’t consider this to be a sneaker that’s meant for functional use, it’s more of a fashion/aesthetic artifact that an art museum could keep to exhibit.
