Could you do a trip that shows plus and minus of rear sway bar disconnect
@OffCamberInd3 жыл бұрын
We will add it on the list of videos to make. Basically - pro, is that you have more articulation and the back tires don’t lift as often. Con, the car will lean a lot more when cornering fast.

Interesting to see the capabilities between the jeeps and the utv's. What size wheels and tires are you guys running?
@OffCamberInd4 жыл бұрын
Wheelbase between a buggy and a UTV makes a huge difference on certain obstacles. Also the suspension on a rzr turbo, for example, is a lot stiffer to be able to handle whoops/corners at 60+mph, especially when you have the rear sway bar attached The grey rzr has 35x15, black has 33x15, white has 32x14
@raymondmcdonald70854 жыл бұрын
@@OffCamberInd Thanks! Looks like it was a nice day over there. I have a 2019 Can-Am X3 XRC Turbo R and a 2019 RZR turbo S. Both are stock and was thinking about going larger on the tires. Do you recommend it?
@OffCamberInd4 жыл бұрын
@@raymondmcdonald7085 I love the extra clearance and the larger tires help soak up the smaller chop a bit. If you do any larger of tires on the S, I’d definitely do gearing. The Canam is geared lower already, so should be able to handle larger tires without much adjustment
@raymondmcdonald70854 жыл бұрын
@@OffCamberInd Thanks. Is gearing adjustment done with clutching or something else?
@OffCamberInd4 жыл бұрын
@@raymondmcdonald7085 when we talk about gearing we actually meaning swapping out the gears in the transmission for a lower gear. Clutching can also help compensate for bigger tires, but gearing makes the most sense in rocks

Royce, what gear reduction/clutch setup are you running in your turbo s?

@OffCamberInd4 жыл бұрын
All of us have invested in an aftermarket (way stronger) roll cage and/or 4 or 5 point harnesses. Not a bad idea to wear a helmet too, but comes down to being a personal decision I guess. I personally wear one at the dunes when I’m doing high speed on very big hills. Thanks for watching!! -Royce
