Looped version - I arranged eight HoD tracks in the style of Symphony of the Night, full playlist here: bit.ly/Harmony...
A.K.A. the Marble Corridor theme. Symphony of the Night was half recorded live and half recorded using Roland sound modules most likely (so there's no "Symphony of the Night soundfont"). I don't have access to those so I used E-MU sound modules to get as close as I can. I extracted the drum sounds from Yamane's original SotN compositions using mvsep to isolate them and made samples to use. Guitar and bass also real however tried to go for that vintage PS1 VGM production sound.
Since the gameplay style of HoD was always going for that SotN feel it made sense to me to give the soundtrack that same treatment! I considered doing Aria's GBA soundfont/style but opted for this experiment instead for the added challenge and sound quality.
GEAR USED ON THIS PROJECT:
