This is like sitting through q course at the FTU (USAF) or FRS (USN)!! Excellent presentation!!! Simple definitions and good visuals. Which is good because I didn't go to this particular FRS course! ;)

Have you considered teaming up with someone like Reflected Simulations to create an F-5 training campaign that teaches these concepts? I absolutely love your videos and I think someone like Reflected could make a great training campaign that people could use to practice this stuff.

Reflected is a great campaign developer and I enjoy his videos. I'd be glad to collaborate with him but I know we're both very busy with our projects. That will probably be the biggest hurdle for us to overcome if we ever decided to work together.

I might guess the difference ein maneuvering for the different tactics was to underline the importance of pre briefing the desired behaviors, but would there be an advantageous point to perform a skate without cranking? Omitting that would leave us with less range to work with judging by the video, with the only benefit I can possibly identify being that the opponents don't get an indication for us to already have launched.

Informative course, well done and laid out. Wonder what would be next after BVR? SEAD? Moving more Mud? Or how packages are planned and employed? Either way, love your series.

Has anyone tested the salvo results in DCS? I feel like flying in a flanker, that it isn't beneficial to salvo. The CM resistance of the ERs is poor. Thanks for the video!

I really enjoy learning the details of how things work, but i still struggle with the "big picture" Maybe in the future could you do a series (maybe even a single video would suffice?) Kind of stepping through the tiers between the overall war picture down to the task of the individual pilot? It is difficult for me to express exactly what im asking because i dont know what i dont know. A simple example would be that i dont know what to do as a CAS (example?) pilot in a MB339 when im flying around on a server. One series that really help me is "The Operations Room" where he describes an encounter with overhead view, but tailored more toward teaching how the pilots interact? Just suggestions... Thank you for the videos, they are so good.

He already did explain this in his "Air Supremacy" series. Especially the ATO episode explains in detail how the overall war picture gets broken down to indivdual tasks for single pilots/flights: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n32rhYadas14m5Ysi=zi-iH0t-viSi3iuj

Maybe I missed it between this and part 1, but when executing a skate or an out, it seems like we are turning before the missile goes husky/pitbull. Is the intent for a skate to have enough time for the missile to go (at minimum) husky before conducting the out?
@YuriHabadakas

This is a really good question, and I'm trying to work out the answer as well. I've been doing some practice. At 20,000ft, against a Su-27 (documented MAR is 15, going on the Falcon BMS docs), doing about Mach 1.5 (full AB, pointing right at the enemy), the HUD indicator shows that the distance at which a launch would go pitbull will put me at 14nm away. Basically, I've never been able to get a missile to go active while I still have a radar lock, without getting within that 15nm.
