Edit: I'm getting a lot of comments that the setting was intentional. I understand that some designers try to be provocative in their runways and do unconventional things, but awkward and uncomfortable is a whole different story. This decision just didn't pay off to me.

To be fair, a lot of high fashion is intended to be another form of art and not for actual use past a catwalk. It can get pretty sculptural and I love that. Would I wear it out in public? Hell no. But does it take actual knowledge and skill to make this stuff? Hell yes. That's the only reason I'm a fan. Then again, people also call me tacky, so.... 😂
