We are- a family of four,

Two children Elsie and Betsy

2 Pygmy Goats - Treasure and Bell
1 Sheep - Luan
2 Pigs - Copper and Rascal

2 Horses - Merlin and Montana
We decided to trade our busy life as home and business owners to chase the dream we’ve harboured for 10years.
How did we get here
After years of saying one day, we finally realised that these opportunities don’t just land in your lap and if we seriously wanted to make a difference to the Earth then we were going to have to stop talking about it and do it!
We sold all our stuff, got rid of the mortgage, sold our camper conversion business and landed in a dream come true. After traveling in our van we settled here in the west of Ireland. A place that has always been special to us. Annie is half Irish and since we met 13 years ago and she took me to meet her family i fell in love with Ireland too.
Now we’ve made this dream a reality there is no stopping us! our plan is to work hard, meet new people and learn new skills that will guide us on our journey of permaculture and creating a way of life that sings to us. One where we aren’t bound to the banks, working every hour and outsourcing all of our needs. A simple way of life, with connection to ourselves, each other, the earth and our community.

It's a great thing for daughters to have a parent (usually a dad, but no reason why it has to be) who teaches them all the things that girls might be interested in, but are discouraged from learning. I would have really benefitted from that; lovely to see that Elsie and Betsy have it.

I'm interested in your pancakes. Any chance for the full recipe and a little instruction?

3 cups of oats, 1 cup flour, 1 egg and water until fairly runny. Get a pan and a bar of butter heat the pan and wipe the butter around the pan and pour thinly. Cook until slightly crispy. Flip then add cheese or filling of choice. Fold and serve :)

What a wonderful tradition that is! Meitheal. I need to remember that word. I feel it is so motivating having people over to help with huge jobs that are so repetitive. Especially if you have to do things over. I personaly need some extra motivation for these kinds of jobs. Love Annie wearing the old jacket 😉.

looks like Grinder is a good way to take heads off ring nails, how long does it take to grind off one head? a narrow headed 1/4 inch pinchers good quality sharp hard blade tips might be another
